I've had a long look at Liberty's scores and he's not far wrong. There may be 1 or 2 little mistakes but they are 99% correct for me.
I disputed them on the basis of my own silly mistake. Again, I apologise Liberty. My brain works to fast for my body to keep up with, I often make the simplest but stupidest errors, like adding 28, 19 & 5 and getting 41. I'm an idiot.
However I think the problem is the allocation of points. Next time I think the Rumble should just count as a normal match (E.G the normal 5 points for a match) and then add eliminations and time lasted ect. Rather than points for appearance at the PPV as well as the Rumble match itself.
I don't like the system if I'm totally honest, but the accuracy of the points is fine.
Well, yah, doing this every week, believe me, I make mistakes too. My brain also works very fast and it's a bit of work taking notes on what every wrestler did and then tabulating it all correctly. Shit will happen.
And I am considering changes to the system because I really don't like how we give someone +3 for appearing and then only +2 for executing a finisher. That should be reversed.
I mentioned last week that I was considering instituting some scoring changes. Chief among which would be making "Win a Title Match" points accumulative (i.e., you get normal victory points and the title victory bonus when you win a title match). But then make "Lose a Title Match" separate. So, you either get a "Defeat" penalty for losing a normal match or you get a penalty for losing a title match, but never both.
The way it stands now, Sandow and Rhodes received double penalties for losing the title match, and I think that's too much of a penalty and gives way too much of a discrepancy between winning and losing a title match.
Here are a list of my other proposed changes that I have been working on. Now is as good a time as any to introduce them:
RAW, SD!, Main Event
+1 - Appearance*
+4 - Match
+2 - Finisher Executed
+2 - Finisher Leads Directly to Win**
+3 - Victory
+2 - Victory via DQ
- 1 - Defeat
PPV Scoring works like this:
+2 - Appearance*
+6 - Match
+3 - Finisher Executed
+3 - Finisher Leads Directly to Win**
+5 - Victory
+3 - Victory via DQ
- 2 - Defeat
Then, for every show, title matches work as follows:
+6 - Win a Title Match***
- 4 - Lose a Title Match****
