TDL Rules *Please Read Before Signing Up*

Did you really think we weren’t going to have any rules? Well we weren’t but Rajah threatened to shut us down if we didn’t have some form of control here.

Divisions

TDL is split up into three divisions.
Wrestling – Covering a wide range of companies (not just WWE).
MMA – Covering all Mixed Martial Arts companies and fighters
Non-Wrestling – From politics, to the latest news to sports and entertainment. Anything that isn’t covered in the previous two divisions will be here.

Once you sign up, please specify ONE division that you want to compete in. This is the division you will remain in, unless otherwise stated.

Sign Ups

At the moment there will be 15 competitors in the Wrestling and Non-Wrestling Divisions and 10 competitors in the MMA Division. This may increase to 20 but after that, that’s it. As previously mentioned, choose your division carefully as this is where you will stay.

Since both Wrestling and Non-Wrestling cover a wide range of companies and subjects, please let us know if there is anything in particular you do not want to debate. For example, I'd choose the Non-Wrestling Division but won't debate politics.

The Debates

Each debate will have their own thread for the competitors to post their debates. There will be no counter arguments so it’s one post per competitor.

The deadline allocated for each show is final. If something comes up such as technical problems, forum maintenance and so forth we may then allow a brief extension. Deadlines are generally 7-10 days from the card being posted so there is plenty of time.

No-Showing Debates

We are not assholes (well I can’t speak for Isaac and Mac ) and we are very approachable. If something has come up at home or you have exams etc. and you’re not able to hand in your debate, let us know before the deadline (and I’m talking at least 12 hours before, not 12 minutes before) and we can arrange an extension or replace you with another opponent.

Anyone that no-shows their debate, without a legit reason will be automatically disqualified and permanently removed from the league. We do not fuck around here so don’t waste our time by signing up and not bothering to show.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask us.

I don't understand this at all. How is it a debate if you can only make one post? That makes no sense what so ever.
