Lol i mean can ROH survive that much of a talent loss? Thats a pretty big chunk of their roster gone if all the rumors are true.
With the exception of the Briscoe's I don't think they're losing much. I was never big on bennett or Titus. Eddie and Davey are boring most of the time. I was a big Davey fan in 2011, but I'm kind of glad he's going.

I think they should be alright. I think business wise they're in good shape and these moves might force them to do something in regards to their real problem, the product. It's boring.

Exactly.

And even then that was 3 guys and now 6 guys are leaving almost at the same exact time.

Once all those guys are gone ROH isn't gonna have hardly any stars left. Elgin, Steen and Ciampa are the 2 big main one thats sticking around and thats good but they're all faces. And the tag division is gonna take a big hit with The American Wolves and The Briscoe's leaving, what other tag teams are left? Coleman and Alexander, and Red Dragon is the only teams i can think of, and they lost the WGTT earlier this year.

I really don't know if ROH can recover from this loss. They better get some big indy names with them and quick.
There has only been one real exodus in Pro Wrestling that I know of. When WCW started raiding WWF's roster. These were the days when WWF employees didn't have contracts.

And even then, Shawn stayed, the Undertaker stayed...

Bret stayed at the begining.

1. They were never without marketable people, ROH isn't without marketable people now.

2. It's very easy to build up new stars and it doesn't take a lot of time. Look at the Ultimate Warrior and Daniel Bryan.

There is whole world of indy talent out there that isn't even on the WWE's or TNA's radar. Plus, the WWE and TNA are always letting people go that they shouldn't. ROH has a lot going for it financially. They can sign people for 12 month contracts, and longer even. Almost every Indy can't say that.

I doubt all these guys are going to leave any time soon. Maybe next year, but not now. Not every guy that sends out feelers and gets looked at is signed.
Well Jay has already dropped the title and has been written off tv, i can't see them bringing him back. The Wolves have said in the very near future they'll be with either TNA or WWE, and Bennett hasn't really been used at all for a while now and Titus has been written off along with Scum. So its just my guess but i'd say they're all leaving pretty much at the same time.

Re: ROH losing alot of their stars?

Rhett was on raw his contract expired after Baltimore. The Briscoes contract ended and were not resigned by Sinclair and were written off tv and title was vacated. The Wolves contracts are up on the 30th they will more then likely be leaving Richards is probably 100% done with ROH. Rumor is Strong and Elgin's contracts are up in August. So yeah this is bad for ROH but they are no way dead. Steen, Lethal, Cole, and others will still be there and they can bring in new young talent and build. Cornett did a lot of damage in the ROH locker room and this seems to be the outcome they are going to have to deal with

Re: ROH losing alot of their stars?

Briscoes was old news at this point. It was nothing left for them to do. Sort of like AJ Styles in TNA. Richards and Edwards been push to death in the past. They losing guys that basically accomplish everything in ROH and more. Adam Cole just signed a contract with ROH, he is the guy to focus on. Guys like Elgin, Kyle Oreilly, etc. I am not even a big ROH fan and I can see that.

How Cornette did damage to the locker room?

ROH has been running on steam for quite some time now. Wouldn't surprise me if shuts down within the next year.

Favorite Wrestlers Of All Time - The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle and Edge

from interview I've heard mostly just the overall treatment of the guys. Davey and Steen talked about for a while in their shoot interview. Cabana talks about it too as one of the reasons he wouldn't go back to ROH.

Re: ROH losing alot of their stars?

It's kind of an inevitability when your show is either the stepping stone to the big time or a place for the former big players to go who aren't ready for retirment, your best talent by logic will always move on.

Re: ROH losing alot of their stars?

Why can't Davey just fucking retire already

There will always be young hungry talent to take the place of all the "indy stars" making the move up, its just a matter of time. I think the crop of stars who sprang up in the previous decade will always seem special because they broke certain barriers because lets face it 15 years ago we probably wouldn't see many guys like CM Punk, Danielson or Aries getting pushed as hard in the WWF or WCW, no matter how talented they are.
