Side note Rhett was on raw so he won't be there his contract expired after the Baltimore event. Sonjay is really left field. Would you guys like Joey Ryan in the mix since he is free?

I enjoy the Ryan character but I wouldn't bring him in for this tournament, perhaps in some other capacity though. Would rather see Alex Shelley or Kenny Omega if at all possible, even if it's only for a couple of dates/matches.

Re: Official ROH World Title Tournament Discussion Thread

On paper, so far this has the potential to be one of the best title tournaments in quite a long time. Unfortunately, I find that having the tournament spread out over almost two months of TV tapings and live shows takes away from the whole tournament concept.

If ROH had decided to run a two day tournament (BOLA-style) broadcasted on IPPV, even if they are running a one day broadcast delay, it could have helped bring prestige back to the company.

WIth five entrants to go, I would love to see Matt Hardy, Jimmy Jacobs, Alex Shelley, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards rounding up the field.

Realistically, I see it being Matt Hardy, Jimmy Jacobs, another ROH original like Amazing Red, Tv champ Matt Taven and Rhino.

That is why it's called organized crime.

Re: Official ROH World Title Tournament Discussion Thread

Both Ciampa and Lethal were expected, Ciampa is good and Lethal will be a second round out.

Can't see Matt Hardy being brought back in because how would they explain that, and after the SCUM angle why would they just give him another chance at the title? Plus please no Matt Taven.

Re: Official ROH World Title Tournament Discussion Thread

So who's left out of the big names? Does C&C each take a shot? What about ACH? Should they try and go after some chikara guys? Do they try and maybe pull the likes of Willie Mack, Brian Cage, Peirce maybe come back? Their are 5 spots left in a dream scenario I would live ACH, Mack, Cage, Peirce, and Cabana.
