Could you see someone like Johnny Gargano, Drake Younger, or Adam Cole winning a belt in Japan? If you have anymore names give them to me. BTW what indy guy would win a belt if he went to WWE or TNA?

Of the three you mentioned, I only see Drake having potential. Gargano has only been to Japan once that I know of, and I don't think Cole has ever been there, and will probably be signed to WWE before he'll ever have the chance to. Drake seems to be in well with BJW, but I don't know if they'd trust an American with their belt, unless he was willing to live there while he had it.

Only other one that springs to mind is Ricochet. Not too sure how well he's doing in Japan in terms of title wins, but he's the only one who I can think of who is (a) a regular in Japan who's trusted enough to be given a title, and (b) Doesn't seem to be on WWE's shortlist. (Although honestly, I'm sure his time is coming)

Cole did a whole tour of Big Japan, not just one match. Ricochet is essentially a puro wrestler these days anyway who works Indy dates in between tours. He works in Dragon Gate far more than the US Indies. Indy guys don't just turn up in Japan and win belts unless a promotion signs them or uses them regularly.

I'm not sure if BJW would trus any american so much that they'd give him a belt, after what happened with them and Zandig in early 2000's.

Ricochet's already been noted, same for Rich Swann (TriGate). I'm" not too familiar with a lot of Japan promotions these days but Dragon Gate has always been Gaijin friendly when it comes to pushing those guys and giving them straps. Sydal, PAC, Evans, etc.
