Would you think it would be cool to see a lot of them wrestle in the indies in the U.S.? I would love to see more Puro and Luchadors wrestle in the U.S. Plus it could help get the indies a lot more exposure. BTW I know the Puro guys come over to ROH and EVOLVE/DGUSA so that really doesn't count. Finally I don't even view ROH as indy anymore.

They do come over, but its like when we go over there, we adopt their style they adopt ours

another big thing is in us indiys are not the same as else wherre, its veyr chaotic hard to keep a promotion running and if they do its once a month cards

over there you do VERY well and can go home pretty damn well off if smart

over here if your smart you will still have money to pay for the gas

True I know it's hard to keep a promotion running, but it would be cool to see Japanese talent more often.

Those days are gone. No Indy has the finances to back imports regularly. ROH's been bringing more over lately though. If you mean really minor local Indies then just no. They can't afford, imports' home promotions won't be happy with them risking injury in front of 100 people for jack all and most of these names don't have the time in between tours if they're full time abroad.

So dragon gate usa, which is basically exactly what youre asking for doesnt count? What kind of logic is that?

NJPW is currently doing very well, they pretty much dominate Japan. In that regard, the biggest Japanese names are out of most indies' price range. That said, there's still puro and joshi wrestlers in the US indies.

What I would really love is a reinvention of how the WWE treats puro wrestlers, so we can get some top Japanese talent in WWE to be treated right, but that would take a total overhaul of the way they look at talent. If I were WWE, I'd look into putting together a partnership with NJPW, to get some talent exchanges and cross promotion (lord knows a few of WWE's wrestlers would benefit from 6 months of training in Japan's dojos). Japan's a strong market for wrestling that's underused by WWE.

No because i'm talking about regular indies. Also they can get the lower midcard guys from Japan.
