Tonight a legend retired

Today marked his 25th year in the wrestling business and on his anniversary Jerry Lynn has wrestled his last match tonight. Jerry has provided us with great moments throughout his career. Post your favorite moments of Lynn here. Ill get to mine later when I have some time.

Any match involving Lynn and Van Dam was a wrestling classic. Love Jerry Lynn.
One of the most underrated and over looked, yet highly talented wrestlers the business has ever seen.

Lynn was one of the key figures in establishing the TNA X-Division. As a proven veteran he gave many-a-rub during the early years building guys like AJ and Daniels.

Honestly I respect him more than anyone I've met in the wrestling business. He is just a very stand up guy who is an incredible asset to the locker room even as just a road agent. I hope he still does stuff backstage or even open up a school.

First match I ever saw of his was against Rob Van Dam at the ECW Living Dangerously 1999 Pay-Per-View & they stole the show. It was a big reason why I got so into ECW, admittedly. It was the first time I had ever really saw table spots. They had a really good rematch during the Hardcore Heaven 1999 PPV as well. Even though Rob Van Dam won both matches (*spoilers*), Jerry Lynn came out of them looking like a million bucks.

Upon re-watching them years later, I don't feel like they really stand the test of time all too well. Seeing them as a teenager with fresh eyes though, they were incredible. Nowadays, a lot of the originality that made them special is gone & the overall bar has been raised to a point where they just sort of feel like they're stalling until the next big "Oh my god!" spot.

A lot of respect for Jerry Lynn.

Am I the only one who thinks he'll come back?

Others were saying his retirement would last 1 year at max. I don't know, what else would Jerry do? Road agent duties? Opening a school like previously mentioned? I have to imagine it'd still be within the wrestling business no matter what.

Well, Waltman DID mention a few days ago that he's opening a school soon. I could definitely see the two of them churning out killer workers like crazy.
