Anybody ever met him? Such an awesome dude. One of the genuinely, nice guys in the business that you'd have no problem sparking up a conversation with. All the best with whatever he decides to do. He could be a great trainer or road agent, for sure.

His matches with Rob Van Dam in ECW go without saying. I was also a fan of his Summer Series with Justin Credible in 1998, those matches stand out to me.

I'm probably in the minority here but I also enjoyed his run as ROH World Champion in 2009. He was on some of the early ROH shows in 2002 and I thought having him as World Champion added some more prestige to the belt, despite him dethroning Nigel being unpopular at the time. The matches he was having with Nigel, Aries, Danielson, Black etc. were probably some of his best.

Let's not also forget his involvement with the TNA X Division and the great matches he had there, and of course his early classics with Sean Waltman. Those two running a school together would be kickass.

I met him once and he was sick as a dog, wrestler a pretty long match and what not and still talked to every one there, and not the "hi there" either

Hard to imagine him staying retired, as is the case with literally every wrestler.

Got to meet him on my 17th birthday. Awesome guy and very humble.

Good wrestler who will always hold a place in my heart for wrestlers. I hope he gets to spend time with his wife and daughters and has a great life after wrestling. I think it'd be interesting to see what talents could come out under his wing in a wrestling school.
