Frontier Wrestling Alliance

So not sure if a thread about FWA has been made before, so i thought i would make this one.

I used to be a big fan, even helping with advertising & out-sourcing. Was succesfull in getting them a show in my home town, the highlight was going to buy some cotton thread with Andy Simmons

With the likes of Alex Shane, Doug Williams, Jody Fleisch, Jonny Storm, Paul Burchill, there was no shortage of talent & it was certainly interesting seeing Burchill in WWE, to which they wasted him IMO.

I think they have closed down now, but does anybody remember them? Did anyone attend events? What did you think of the product?

I'm sure only UK fans have even heard of them, although i could be wrong.

So lets hear it.

Re: Frontier Wrestling Alliance

I remember them. Had a great amount of talent on there roster. Used to watch matches on Youtube when they were around. Was a big fan of Paul Burchill. Yeah your right WWE didn't use him correctly

Re: Frontier Wrestling Alliance

I had seen a few of their matches (mostly with guys id seen in roh jody, williams, etc). Fun fact about fwa is they are the reason the roh title became a "world" championship. Roh ran a joint show with fwa where joe beat zebra kid to retain the title.

Re: Frontier Wrestling Alliance

I read somewhere that they're still going? They were holding events as recently as April last year and their website is still up, but there's been no updates since that time. I hope they keep going, I'd say they're on par with All Star and Premier Promotions as one of the high-profile promotions in the UK.

Katie Lea/Winter and Doug Williams also went through FWA as well.
