Kana/Syuri 2/19 is a definite nomination to be on the shortlist. Haven't seen the other Joshi matches you had shortlisted, but its a very well worked match built on the submission vs striking dynamic as well as a great theme of Kana continuously trying to best Syuri in the strike department after weakening her with submissions. Doesn't go too long, selling is generally consistent and incorporated well, some nicely timed nearfalls, the strike exchanges are short, intense and serve a purpose and the finish comes at the right time and concludes the story satisfactorily. Was going to add Kana/Yammamoto vs Syuri/Ikeda but spotted you already had it listed :o .
:mark: @ London Riots vs Velocity Vipers being selected. Funnest match of the entire year and a tremendous showcase. Arguably one of the best matches barely anyone payed attention to. |

Enter the Dragon 2012) (Haven't personally seen yet, but I heard it was great) Also, wasn't one of the Samuray Del Sol/Generico matches said by a lot to be a MOTY candidate? Deathmatches - Matt Tremont/Masada (Masters Of Pain 2012) - Drake Younger/Abdullah Kobayashi (Triangle Tour. Day 6 I believe?) - Danny Havoc/Drew Gulak (Can't remember the show, but it was a NRBW match around April-June. Sometime before TOD) - Masada/Tremont or Masada/Younger from TOD |
