Tama Tonga-The Son of Meng. Brother of WWE's Camacho. Very impressive physique. Was great in his recent CMLL run. Currently works in New Japan.

Re: Who from the Indys or Japan should be on NXT?

Nobody, for a few years. The independent scene still hasn't completely recovered from the losses of Danielson and McGuinness, nevermind Black, Moxley, Aries and Generico. Let the scene redevelop, create some new stars and then talk about them signing with the WWE. Of course this is from a selfish fan who just wants a wide variety of quality wrestlers in as many companies as possible, without taking the wrestler's careers and dreams in to consideration but whatever.

I think it's a flawed question because who cares about the NXT? Tough enough had an ok run in 2011 but since then nobody cares about these shows.

NXT has been the best WWE show over the past six months. I care.

Watching Raw this week, restocking the Divas division seems absolutely necessary. And that's a solid list.

I'd add Jessie McKay to that list.

And that's a flawed response, surely.

At least with NXT it's in front of a WWE crowd (albeit on a much smaller scale) and those involved can chart the progress of each wrestler and judge how they will come across to the main audience when they're called up. What did Tough Enough leave us with? Robinson's back to fucking around in the NWA with his cocky RKO gimmick "rip-off" and Andy Leavine is juicing his way through WWC's bottom of the card squash matches.

Re: Who from the Indys or Japan should be on NXT?

I think Johnny Gargano is really the only one who springs to mind. There are guys like Steen, Cole, Sami, etc. But personally I hate when an indy guy is signed in the middle of a storyline. Generico is a perfect example. As much as he deserves to be there, I would have liked it if he just stayed for another 6-9 months, just so PWG could properly do what they were going to do with him and Steen. Gargano is the one guy who isn't really doing anything in terms of storylines ATM. He's done just about everything he can do on the indies, If he were to drop the DGUSA title and go to WWE, I wouldn't mind.
