Stopped by the NE Pro Wres. Academy!

I didn't know where exactly to put this so if it needs to be moved, please do so! I'm just so pumped about my experience I had to share it! I made an appointment with Brian Fury, the head instructor at the NEPWA, to stop by today during a class and I honestly didn't really know what to expect. I wanted to check the place out to see if this is something that I 100% want to commit to...well let me tell you....I am now 123456% sure that it's something I want to do. The amount of creativity and energy that this outlet can give a person is amazing. Today everyone was working on basically how to sell moves, how to be a little more lively in-ring ya know, stuff like that. Really amazing to see what actually goes into some matches. I mean, there was a kid there that had only been there for maybe 1 to 2 months and he was already flipping over dudes and throwing guys around like it was a cake walk. And to top it all off, a guy (shit, I forgot his name cuz i was in heaven) came in near the end of the session who had been on MONDAY NIGHT RAW FOR GOD'S SAKE and he started when he was 25 (my current age) and within the first 2 years of training WWE had called him and told him they wanted to book him. Amazing. Where's my checkbook cuz I'm friggin sold.

So....now that I've gotten this long-winded post out of the way, anyone else training right now? I'm so stoked about this it's incredible. I basically want to prove all of my coworkers and my parents wrong that I can do this.

I actually had a sit in on the school back in November, and I'm still planning on joining when I'm financially set, which I was hoping was going to be this month, but looks like it's not going to be till March :/ Great school though, I too am looking forward to it.

Righteous, dude! Make sure to give me a high five when you show up. I'm probably stopping in next Saturday to actually fill out paper work just in time for next week's pay check too! :D

Figured I'll just continue this conversation here by asking "should I invest in a knee brace?" My left knee has been doing a lot of cracking and popping lately, especially while doing squats, so this could obviously be a sign of arthritis. Would a knee brace help at all?

I hate to keep bumping this apparently dead thread, but I don't want to have to keep asking questions in a new thread or whatever, but class got snowed out this past Saturday due to Nemo so I gotta wait until this Saturday to go in and fill out paperwork and actually start training. It's driving me bonkers cuz I just wanna get the show on the road! Anyways, the payment plan that I'm gonna follow through on is a Quarterly plan. $400 down then $400 every 3 months, then just $50 per month after a year. This seemed like the easiest plan for my current payroll status. The only issue that i'm gonna run into is that training runs on Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. With my current work schedule I'd only be able to rely on Saturdays for training since I work evenings and MAYBE if i'm lucky and not working nights on Tuesday or thursday I could go then.....The quarterly payment plan is steady, meaning i pay $400 and go and get as much training in as I can in the span of 3 months, hopefully getting advice on what I can work on outside of class.

Have any of you taken pro wrestling classes before? I apologize for the long winded post but I'm getting really anxious and antsy about Saturday and i'm just running all these questions and thoughts through my head. I'd like to find a way to practice outside of class, and if possible IN a ring so I can do rope work and the like...
