Best Wrestling Promotion?
I used the search and didn't see other threads.
I started watching wrestling when Lesnar, Angle, and Big Show were main eventing Vengeance (started watching a few weeks before? If memory serves correctly) Everything was great to me in that era, I was also a lot younger. But the talent across the board was better than Todays product (probably due to booking). I quit watching before Cena became WWE Champion (but Cena was definitely a favorite character of mine)
I then started watching wrestling recently (4 months ago) and was pretty pleased with the problem. Then...it's been 4 months and I already quit watching Raw weekly and just catch it when I'm in the mood for it. It got moderately interesting lately - but not as engaging as I'd like to be. I'll probably tune into Royal Rumble - and depending on what happens (Rock vs Cena 2 at WM seems inevitable)
Bottom line - Which Wrestling promotion would you recommend someone? Someone who does like storylines (weather it's a Professional Sports feel or a Drama Show feel), great matches (10 minutes+ of two guys / women leaving it all in the ring), and Championships that mean something when you win it and is tough to defend. Recommend ANY Promotion you can, but, anything that fits that criteria is gold to me.
Promotions I've tried -
ROH (Their website buffering problems have irritated me to the point of just flat out saying "no" and after all the hype I read from researching the show because of Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Samoa Joe and other various wrestlers it just didn't seem as electricfying. However, I'd like to give it a chance once their buffering issue gets fixed.)
TNA (Just can't get into it, I tried and forced myself to - just cannot get into it.)
As you can see, I'm not experienced with Promotions. So any help would be awesome. Thanks for reading and thanks for the help
