The next ROH World's Champion?

I figured it would be fun to take a stab at who could possibly become the next World's Title holder and when it may possibly take place. Personally, I don't really have a competitor that I really want to be the next World Champion (a few maybe) but I have the odd feeling as it it's going to be Michael Elgin taking the belt or Davey Richards landing his second term with the title. If Elgin wins the belt I'm guessing it won't be until Summer at some point, but if Richards wins the title I could see it coming almost at anytime seeing as how over he is with the crowd.

Any guesses? Discuss!

Re: The next ROH World's Champion?

It needs to be someone fresh - ideally a surprise addition to the roster - because there is zero excitement in an all-too-predictable switch to Lethal or Elgin, and zero mileage in a second reign for Richards (please god no).

Id love to see the belt on Tomasso Ciampa. So much potential for fresh matchups, excellent promo guy, and a new face at the top of the company.

MY FEELINGS EXACTLY, the problem with ring of honor is that they are always playing catch up on the heat that a wretler gets. Tyler Black, Roderick Strong, Davey and Even Steen all got the belts as their popularity was dropping with the crowds and they had already wrestled the entire roster at least twice.
