Re: NJPW as of late....
I just loved NJPW because it felt like a real sport and wasn't bogged down by too much in the way of storyline and "sports entertainment", it really felt like it was a true respected sport and that's what drew me in so much. I'm seriously going to go back and brush up on the past couple of years as well as try to build my NJPW library, it should be fun to get back into NJPW and stay current with it as it evolves.
One thing I LOVED is when they would do press conferences with the champions and challengers, it made the title bouts really seem important and it helped to build the story better than some drama-filled made for television spectacle. That and they really seemed to build the titles up and make winning a belt something special and meaningful, something WWE lacks unfortunately.
