Man I don't what to think of this card, the main event sounds like it could be fun if it doesn't feel all house showy (even though its a house show). Don't really see the ACH hype but I like Strong so that could go either way. BJ/O'Reilly could be good; I haven't seen Webb in years so I don't know there and I see absolutely nothing appealing in QT Marshall and I don't expect him to win me over like Mike Bennett did, even if he is in the ring with a general like Jay.
ACH's hype is built off being there in person, I think. I've never seen one of his matches online, but he goes far out of his way to get the live audience behind him. To me, he has a natural charisma and a unique personality. He's not a stereotype, and he pours a ton of himself into his character -- which is growing and maturing by the match. He gives it 100 percent in every match, regardless of placement on the card, size of the promotion, how many are in attendance. A lot of guys give it a good go, I guess I mean to say, but ACH tends to go above and beyond that, really pushing himself to be a pandering babyface. And he does pander, but that's part of his charm, his gimmick; a goody two-shoes good ol' boy from Austin, Texas. Overall, I just think he's a really good talent on his cusp of breaking through to being an indy darling. By the end of this year, I really think he'll be on most everybody's radar. He's not great right now, if I had to be supremely critical, but he's damn good and has a world of potential to build off. And he's fairly young, so whatever flaws he has now are because he's so young and new to the game, and he has plenty of time to improve upon them. So, yeah, that's a little reasoning for why I dig ACH, and why I think you should too.
Agreed that BJ/O'Reilly sounding really good. BJ's work the last year or two has been incredibly solid, and he should do great in his hometown. O'Reilly, meanwhile, is a bit underrated, in my opinion. A lot of people are on the Adam Cole Train, understandably, but O'Reilly can be just as good at times. (At times.) So this one has the potential to be rather decent, if not outstanding.
