How To Reboot ROH's Tag Division

I've been watching Ring of Honor since 2005, and I have to say that ROH is at it's worst state right now (yes even worst then 2009). There's a lot of things missing from the ROH product right now.A stale roster, no feuds, terrible undercard, but the number one thing missing from the ROH product is an actual good tag team division. ROH has always been built on great tag team wrestling. So, what woudl you do to rebuild ROH's tag division? Who would you drop, add to the roster, and what changes need to be made?

The number one thing I would do is hire a bunch of new talent to jump start the division. Here's a list of teams I would add to the roster.

FIST- FIST would be a great addition to the Ring of Honor roster. I have been watching Chickara wrestling for years and FIST has always standed out for me. Over the years they have matured as a team, and these past couple of years they have been at there best. The combination of Chuck Taylor, Icarus, Grand Akuma, and Johnny Gargano is just an amazing stable. Have Gargano face off against main eventers, Chuck Taylor linger around the midcard facing off for the TV title, and Grand Akuma and Icarus battling for the tag belts.

Paul London and Brian Kendrick- Ok I know Paul London is probably in the worst shape of his life at the moment, but I think London and Kendrick would be an awesome addition to the ROH roster. London had a great run with PWG awhile back, and Brian Kendrick can still go in the ring. They have great chemistry as a team, and would add much needed star power to the broken tag team division.

The RockNess Mosters- I've seen a lot of their PWG work, and I really love this team. Goodtime and Yuma work awesome together as a team. If ROH could snatch these guys from PWG they would have a great addition to the tag roster. I think they one of the better PWG teams out there (besides The Young Bucks).

The Dark City Fight Club- I've always been a fan of The Dark City Fight Club, and they could pull off an decent midcard tag team. I was really disappointed in their first run in ROH, but I think they could do big things in Ring of Honor. They're a very dominant team who would stand out from the other teams in ROH.

Da Soul Touchaz- I really do not know how these guys don't have a permanent spot in Chikara, PWG, or ROH. I think they're a really entertaining group and would make for a decent lower card comedy tag team.

Let's not waste good talent on Ring of Horseshit please.

I don't think it's in bad shape. I just think they need more fueds going on.

I'm really excited about the Headbangers. This is exactly the kind of thing ROH should be doing. If you're going to take someone from the old days, take people who have an interesting thing going on that never really got their due.

I don't care who wins the headbangers/Briscoe fued, as long as they do something with both teams. Don't just have a match for the sake of having a match, right?

I like the Idea of Scum, but they need to do something with Corino and Jacobs. Has Jacobs even told us why he dresses like that? Has anyone even asked him?

I'd just put them in a fued with someone. I like Haas and Benjamin in theory, they just need a persona tweek.

I like it back when Haas was irate because the Briscoes jumped benjamin from behind, the whole "Brother from another mother" thing was cool. I never really understood them as bad guys, the briscoes did every wrong, not them, and all of a sudden, they're bad? Why? Didn't make sense...

But I like Haas in general so why not make him a psycho and have the dynamic of Shelton always trying to keep him calm and reeled in?

Bravados are cool, but again, no personality. I'd put them in those american ring attires they wore at the PPV and have them be overly patriotic. Just ignorant, uninformed americans that hate Obama...

Nothing wrong with not liking Obama, but the comedy here would be that they'd have no good reason for it. They wouldn't actually know anything about politics.

That's just me, I don't think the division is in bad shape at all, I just think ROH doesn't try hard enough on the entertainment side of things.

Gargano and Davis are Gabe guys so them two teams aren't feasible. ROH wont use London unless it's their last show. RockNES would be a disaster in the dull ROH environment.

Push C&C Wrestling Factory and Bravados, reform the American Wolves more and bring in Irish Airborne and 3.0

Well the first thing is addition by subtraction and dumping WGTT and The Headbangers on the nearest scrapheap they can find once the Bravados and C&C get dominating wins over them. After that reform the Wolves because otherwise they're just taking up roster space and then find a couple of young teams to push in the next year.

I think they (Dark City Fight Club) split up because they only did a few shows together this year.
Jon Davis works DGUSA, EVOLVE and PWS.
Kory Chavis probably moved to Florida, because most of his matches are in NWA Ringwarriors and FUW.

Putting back together The Wolves and O'Reilly/Cole, and dumping WGTT would be a start.

Some may disagree, but with a "television product", I think they need to do more singles with their tag guys to keep them fresh. Tag divisions are always going to be super limited as is. Although to counter that in ways, with ROH in the position it is you could always bring in fresh random local guys. The fact that they haven't explored certain singles matches in these tag feuds is mind numbing to me.

Jon Davis is currently getting a big push under Gabe and Kory Chavis works in Florida.
