No not exactly. It was more them trying to expand with TV and become less "indy".

TV is great way to take in money and get exposure but it also depends on what kind of TV deal you have. ROH is owned by TV company so there's I assume is pretty damn good for them. But if a promotion thinks any old TV deal will be good, I'm not sure if that's the case.

If you enjoy TCW please give me like 5 of their BEST matches as long with what episodes or events those matches were on. I know someone asked this question but the answer wasn't very easy to follow for me personally. Maybe what I saw wasn't the best there was. Though I saw Rachel Summerlyn, Athena, and Jerry Lynn in one match so I may not be lost on this product. Once again it visually looked top notch.

Well, what the fuck were their options back in 2003-2005? It's not like TNT, AMC or USA Network were killing each others in order to bring ROH on their air. No offense, but are you out of your mind?

And btw, remember - ROH was running PPVs in 2007-2009, and they lost a lot of money there.

I still can't believe people are putting down PWG as one of the promotions to possibly rise to a #3 mainstream wrestling company. Do they know the whole point of PWG is to put on great wrestling shows once a month and that's it? They have no interest in expanding.

Agreed I still don't understand why people are listing PWG as an option.

Haha I bet I was one of the very few people who actually ordered ROH PPV's, I ordered most of them can't remember the event I think it was Man Up Ladder War was great I was certain ROH would take over at some time, The again I was 14 back in 07 so...

answer your question who knows most Indy companies are content with running shows every month or two. TCW does look good though, Production is great. Not saying their gonna take over or anything but they have a very presentable product.

How did they distribute their PPVs before iPPV? Could you order a ROH PPV if you had like Comcast?

If I'm not mistaken, they began airing PPV's in 2007, through Dish Network and In Demand services.

I actually am not worried about ROH going under right now. They have solid if cheap ownership, are getting decent ratings for said ownership on tv,and have attendance comparable to TNA most of the time. DGUSA is the next company I expect to go under. Terrible attendance and buyrates plus expensive talent
