DGUSA Uprising 2012 Review:
Quick Thoughts: Another solid outing from DGUSA, card was consistent, flowed well and you had a standout match in Callihan/Generico and a really good main event. They also set up the third night very well. Overall, Fearless was better but still a good show.
Jigsaw & Fire Ant vs. DUF- **1/2
Samuray Del Sol vs. Akira Tozawa- ***1/2
Johnny Gargano vs. Jon Davis- SQUASH (Very well done, this is exactly what they needed to do).
Super Smash Brothers vs. Ricochet & Rich Swann- ***3/4
The Gentlemen's Club vs. The Scene & Cheech- **
El Generico vs. Sami Callihan- ****1/4+
CIMA & AR Fox vs. Genki Horiguchi & Ryo Saito- ***1/2

Hard to tell. The yesterday's show had only one match under ***, but Uprising had Sami/Generico.

Re: Dragon Gate USA: November Tripleshot
I was watching Uprising with a couple of friends aka my only friend by me who likes wrestling and his girlfriend. And he pretty much only likes big spots so DGUSA kinda works for him. He tends to be my partner for 2CW shows.
DUF vs. Fire Ant/Jigsaw:Not a bad opener. I still don't really like DUF. Was hoping for a little more from two current and two former CHIKARA members. My friend recognized Fire Ant and Jigsaw from the CHIKARA show in Syracuse but he wasn't really get into it.
Samuray Del Sol vs. Akira Tozawa: Fun match like I was hoping. Wait a year and give these two another match with more time and this could get real good. By that time SDS won't be busting out crazyness all the time and can build. My friend makes fun of me because I dig Tozawa's work. Even he was like "WOAH" when he hit that german on the apron
Gargano vs. Davis: My stream was acting up so me and my friend were trying to decide what race Davis was. But what we got was pretty good.
SSB vs. World-1 International: We were pulling for the 2CW tag champs here and they sure delivered. Nice and exciting and was exactly what I wanted here.
The Gentlemen's Club vs. The Scene: My friends girlfriend was a little repulsed by the Scene. I laughed. Oh she loved Swampy, but who does't. We were excited for our 2CW man Cheech representing. With his shtick he won't ever be a huge player but he is fun for sure. Wish he was back in CHIKARA but I'll live.
Sami Callihan vs. El Generico: Sami can really deliver when he focuses. It certainly didn't hurt that he had one of the best wrestlers on the planet to work with. Generico's selling of his leg was fantastic. Loved this match and I have to watch it again.
CIMA/AR Fox vs. Horiguchi/Saito: I don't really care about CIMA or AR Fox and as a team they mean next to nothing to me. Nothing to really get too excited about here.

Got to love his generic broken english & "Spanish accent", haha.
Gabe continues to be frank. He booked the match just because he wants to see it. At least he's honest. That voice though. Having too many shitty Jimmy Bower flashbacks atm.

DGUSA Freedom Fight 2012 IPPV Review
Quick Thoughts: DGUSA/EVOLVE show of the year and a great way to end the weekend for DGUSA; delivering good-to-great matches, storyline progression and the best pacing. The undercard was passable but the show really kicked up during the second half as the main matches delivered in motherfucking spades. This weekend definitely topped their previous effort from the summer.
Jon Davis vs. EITA- SQUASH
The Scene vs. Tony Nese & Papadon- **1/4
Arik Cannon vs. ACH- **
The Super Smash Brothers vs. Jigsaw & Fire Ant- **1/4
Chucky T vs. Rich Swann (No Disqualification Match)- ***
CIMA vs. Sami Callihan- ****1/4
El Generico & Samuray Del Sol vs. Genki Horiguchi & Ryo Saito- ****
Johnny Gargano vs. Akira Tozawa vs. AR Fox vs. Ricochet- ****1/2-****3/4

Re: Dragon Gate USA: November Tripleshot
Just left the show a few minutes ago, and I can honestly say that was the best live show I've been to since Final Battle 2008. I'm a little behind on 2012, but the main event is my current MOTY. Phenomenal stuff.
Freedom Fight 2012:
Jon Davis vs. Eita - **
The Scene vs. Nese/Papadon - **1/4
Arik Cannon vs. ACH - **1/4
Super Smash Brothers vs. Jigsaw/Fire Ant - ***1/4
Chuck Taylor vs. Rich Swann - *** 1/2
Sami Callihan vs. CIMA - ****
Generico/Del Sol vs. Horiguchi/Saito - ****1/4
Gargano vs. Fox vs. Ricochet vs. Tozawa - *****

Re: Dragon Gate USA: November Tripleshot
Freedom Fight '12, quick ratings:
- Davis/EITA ** (Davis is bringing it)
- The Scene/Nese & Papadon **1/2
- ACH/Cannon ** (ACH could've done better)
- The SSB/Jigsaw & Fire Ant **1/2
- Swann/Taylor ***1/2 (awesome)
- CIMA/Sami ***1/2
- Maraha Isappa/Generico & DelSol ****
- Gargano/Ricochet/Fox/Tozawa ***** (beautiful stories told here)
The first half was painfully average by DGUSA standards, but the second half was frantic. It just kept getting better and better, and the main event was pure awesomeness, 30 minutes of great Junior wrestling. The best 4-Way ever, and maybe the greatest DGUSA match ever.

Re: Dragon Gate USA: November Tripleshot
I know it's expensive and all, but I would love to see more Japanese guys come over. There was what, 3 this weekend? Would prefer like a half dozen or so.
