Sami/Generico was GREAT. The storytelling was awesome, with Sami finally embracing FINLAY's words about focusing on 'rasslin and tearing his opponents apart with methodical offense. Focus, Sami, focus. And yeah, he was damn focused. Storytelling 101. Sami didn't go balls-to-the-walls, he was cautious. Which means Generico got fucked up, and had to work from behind, and he's the BITW in doing it. The first fall was pure psychology, and Sami winning it so quickly gave him a tremendous cofidence and faith in what he's doing. Not to mention Generico's takeresque selling. This match was brilliant. ****1/2

Whenever I read how people rate these matches compared to WWE or TNA, can't help but think they're getting rated on 2 completely different levels. Callihan/Generico deserved at least *******7/4

I'll admit that I enjoyed the hell out of Generico/Sami as well but that's the beautiful thing about pro wrestling though, there isn't one accepted style so you get lots of variety and that's something DragonGate does very well for my money.

Overall: 8.5/10

Undercard is not great at all but starting with the SSB match, things get really good. Taylor/Swann didn't quite get to *** 1/2 for me but it had some brutal spots, the SSB match was good (have they ever had a bad match?), CIMA/Callihan was good, the tag match was great, and the Main event is one of my matches of the year. Some great spots and mark out moments throughout the match. Awesome show.

Honestly I've wondered about the health of this promotion lately. Unless they are getting funded very well, I just don't see how they are going to survive based on what I have heard about their attendance and buyrates.
