Delirious became the booker in August of 2010. He had to finish up Adam Pearce's work and then the company was sold in May 2011. Delirious really didn't have much time as head booker, so let's see what he can do going forward.

Even with that said, he's still with the company so who says he's not still going to be booking anyway but letting Hunter take the heat now? I mean, didn't they say he was the booker in the first place and not Cornette?

Shhhh. We're all trying to be naive here and think the company will go back to how it was from 2002 - 2009.

I just listened to PWinsider Elite, and they said that way Sinclair is running the company clashes with the way Cornette and his vision of what wrestling is. Wouldn't be surprised if he shoots on them and blames them for everything once he's gone from ROH.

The company already dropped prior to Sinclair buying them. We know they aren't all to blame.

Maybe that's a sign of how well ROH manages the lockerroom, that someone like Meltzer doesn't get wind of stuff.
No offense to him, but at the end of the day, he pays people for information. He's a gossip columnist.
It's good to see a promotion batten down the hatch. If that's why he never heard of it.
Anyway, hope you're right, I hope Cornette was running things for real because the promotion needs a change.

rohs probs have more to do with their roster being ravaged, their show has more to do with the guys than the brand

Perhaps it's because Cornette and Russo took a roster that was easily more talented than WWE at the time and just screwed the pooch with it. If there was any rhyme or reason to their booking, TNA starts to compete with WWE at the time.

I'm not saying Cornette isn't a great booker. I am saying he's not a good promoter. He's not good in the head position where he has to form the identity of a company. Cornette is great when he has a few angles to work on and can leave the overall direction to someone else.

I haven't watched ROH in years, but I did read about the fans being plenty pissed off over the no contest Steen vs Lethal match.

Is that why every single roster member flourishes outside of the promotion? I could understand that collectively maybe they've run through a lot and it's stale, but the problem is the pacing and style up and down the card when it comes to that. ROH has had way too many strong cards on paper since Sinclair that have completely failed to deliver.
What's happening there right now seems very weird. Just kind of out of nowhere. Like, they all of a sudden realized that the "Old school product with young guys" idea isn't going to work and that they alienated the only fanbase they had/have left, so lets scramble in an attempt to get them back?
Cornette "saving face"? A collective decision? Someone in Koff's or someone with Sinclair's ear?
