Who will Kevin Steen drop the strap to?
 

He has to lose it at some point who do you think it will be to...


IMO it will be to Jay Lethal....they have been grooming him in the past weeks. who do you guys think?

I see Steen dropping the title to Jay lethal, but in a Fatal 4 way match where Kevin Steen doesn't take the fall to lose his title. Probably somewhere along the lines of Steen vs Lethal vs Richards vs Edwards with Lethal pinning Edwards to win the title.

I don't see Elgin winning the belt just yet as he hasn't even quit the HOT yet. I imagine that Roderick Strong will cost him his match against Kevin Steen leading to a Strong/Elgin match at Final Battle.

Lethal beating Steen for the belt would probably be the most idiotic thing done in the Sinclair era.

It should be Cole or Elgin. Shame they've completely buried O'Reilly or he'd be a reasonable choice as well.

I never said that I supported the decision, however based on the way Cornette has booked ROH in the last few months its safe to say that Jay Lethal is on the fast track to winning the World Title.

Don't get me wrong, it makes sense. It was just a generalized statement. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if that was the route they decided to take.

Its great that we agree on that. Now, as for who I would want to take the title from Kevin Steen, well, id love for a returning El Generico to be the one to dethrone him.

Imagine all the potential IPPV matchups with Generico as champ:

Generico/Davey
Generico/Edwards
Generico/Elgin
Generico/Bobby Fish...to a lesser degree...but makes for a new fresh matchup

Agreed.

I don't see Steen dropping the title to Elgin at Glory by Honor XI. But I do think Elgin will probably be the next champ.
