It's so sad what's happening to what around 05-08 was the best promotion in the world. iPPV feed being down again is just unforgivable. iPPV business is never gonna boom for them again after this AGAIN. Remember when they GUARANTEED it wouldn't happen again. They're driving away even the most loyal segment of their fanbase. They won't "die" in the near future but they're almost at fade away relevance.

Well [Edit: a bit harsh] so screw you sir

Anyways, highly pissed that I ordered this show missed the entire first half of the show so I'm" not even going to review it (wouldn't be fair obviously). I got to see Matt Hardy so at least I got my money's worth and Richards/O'Reilly SOTF finals sounds like a MOTYC to me if they let them do their thing. I probably won't order/watch a replay don't seem all that important for me to do so. On to SOTF and Glory By Honor it is.

It saddens me to say it, but ROH's mismanagement of iPPV feeds is scorching the earth for future companies. It gets to the point where they need to just stop, before they kill any chance of any smaller company ever gaining exposure.

Why does Ring of Honor keep even trying to do iPPV? They can't do normal, $20 PPV like ECW used to do? If early TNA was able to get on weekly Wednesday PPV, surely ROH can get a bi-monthly contract/slot?

Re: ROH "Death Before Dishonor X" - 9/15/12 Chicago Ridge, IL

So i watched the replay.

Briscoes vs. Haas & Titus: **
Pretty dull, didn't cared about it too much.

Jay Lethal vs. Homicide: **1/2
Really hated the no-selling at some parts, Lethal's new finisher looked sick.

Roderick Strong & Michael Elgin vs. Irish Airborne: ***1/4
Dave Christ looked like shit lol. But still good match, it was fun to see Elgin throwing this two like they were nothing. Good story-telling with Strong and Elgin, Strong's really becoming a better worker.

World TV Title - Adam Cole vs. Mike Mondo: ***1/2
Awesome match, really nasty spots (the german suples on the floor looked nuts!). Hardy vs Cole? interesting.

SCUM vs. Haas & Titus: **3/4
Wasn't as bad as i thought it would. The crowd really made this better. Corino looks in a great shape compare to last year, he lost some weight.

ROH World Title - Kevin Steen vs. Rhino: ***3/4
This was kinda like Super Dragon & Steen vs Young Bucks from PWG. Crazy match, if you won't take this too seriously you'll enjoy this. I went nuts when Rhino GORE'D everyone (including Sinclar!)

Unfortunately true. I've been one of the most loyal ROH fans you could find ever since I first started watching back in 2004, I have almost every show on DVD, have been to many shows, ordered all except the previous 2 iPPVs and I credit the promotion with keeping me interested in and making me love wrestling again.

However my interest in the company has seriously died down this year. The talent used doesn't interest me anywhere as much as it did even a year ago and the constant iPPV problems plus my lack of interest to watch the weekly show (which I expected to happen) has just made things worse. Even through their rough points in the past, I still considered ROH my favorite company but I can't help feeling that is gone now. Last year's Final Battle was when I could first feel like my interest was starting to decline.

I'll most likely buy this on DVD at some point just to keep my collection up.

Because its very expensive and takes far longer to reap the reward of the buys as well as them not being in the position to put them on LIVE on PPV.

Re: ROH "Death Before Dishonor X" - 9/15/12 Chicago Ridge, IL

I hope this triggers another Gabe rant about ROH killing his iPPV business. His delivery is immature but he does have a valid point, especially now. ROH's ineptitude to host an iPPV really makes the whole iPPV business look untrustworthy and in fairness to WWN they haven't had any major problems with their feeds like ROH has this year.
