They probably would have gone anyway, they just didn't know about it or didn't know the details. Pretty sure that abomination of a commercial didn't attract any new/casual wrestling fans.

Edit: Other than Generico/London, seems like a pretty lousy card. Balls Mahoney and Tommy Dreamer going for the Heavyweight Title? Are they fucking insane? Oh wait of course they are, this is nothing but a vehicle to boost TNT's ego. As I keep saying, this will do nothing for Australian wrestling and will most likely lose money. Still haven't got my tickets yet but you'll probably see me 3rd row, lol.

Not too unhappy with the card for Melbourne. At least we've got Necro in the main event, who should add more to the brawl since he's a lot more interesting than anything Dreamer and Balls could pull out alone. Tajiri vs. El Generico should be damn good too.

Meh, don't see the reason for the TNT hate. Sure, he books himself strongly, but he's earned the right to do so. He at least tries to bring something to Aussie pro wrestling, and he's a pretty good wrestler himself.

How has he earned the right to do so? He was only a wrestler for a few years before he formed his own promotion and dubbed himself the best wrestler in Australia. He's a terrible wrestler with a terrible garbage bag outfit who has zero charisma. Watch him get booed out of the building anywhere outside of Sydney, and not because he'll be a heel either. He gets X-Pac heat.
to add to the tour, they've announced a No Limits Title for their Cruiser/X Div Competitors.. Hopefully they dont spend $10 at Target like they did with the last belt.
