i'm kinda pissed that American Dolphins are in Block A. Now is very difficult to see them in the semis, if they where in block B i could totally see them in a semifinal match against KENTaiji...oh, well.

NOAH - 7/12/09
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
2,100 Fans (Super No Vacancy)

1. Handicap Match: Kensuke Sasaki & Takeshi Morishima beat Genba Hirayanagi (1:09) when Morishima pinned Hirayanagi after the Double Impact.
2. Akitoshi Saito, Bryan Danielson & Roderick Strong beat Masao Inoue, Ricky Marvin & Kikutaro (14:17) when Strong used a jumping high kick on Kikutaro.
3. Yoshinari Ogawa, Akira Taue & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi beat Yoshihiro Takayama, Takuma Sano & Eddie Edwards (12:26) when Taue used the Ore Ga Taue on Edwards.
4. Takeshi Rikioh & Mohammed Yone beat Jun Akiyama & Akihiko Ito (9:35) when Yone used a Muscle Buster on Ito.
5. Go Shiozaki & Takashi Sugiura beat Kenta Kobashi & Shuhei Taniguchi (17:45) when Sugiura used the Olympic Slam on Taniguchi.
6. NTV Cup - Block B: Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Kotaro Suzuki [1] vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima & Kento Miyhara [1] went to a draw (30:00) when the time limit expired.
7. NTV Cup - Block A: Atsushi Aoki & Kota Ibushi [2] beat KENTA & Taiji Ishimori [0] (21:11) when Aoki used a cross armbreaker on KENTA.

So, we've got Roderick killing Kikutaro, Shiozaki tagging with Sugiura, Sasaki and Morishima murdering Genba, and KENTA tapping out. I'm very pleased by a lot of this.

So glad they gave Aoki a big win over KENTA. Aoki has been one of my favorite juniors for a while now and I'm glad to see they are pushing him to a higher level.

And Genba is still awesome.

Just watched Ibushi-Aoki vs KENTA-Ishimori and I thought it was pretty great. Going in spoiler free probably helped, I was really surprised by the ending. Also agree that it's about time NOAH pushed Aoki, I've been a fan for a while.

If you haven't already, go download KENTA/Ishimori vs Aoki/Ibushi. It's a great match that doesn't overkill everything and tells a smart little story. The finish, while suprising, got a fantastic reaction and the victor's name chanted.

And at some point, in some time period...we need Masato Yoshino vs Taiji Ishimori.

Genba is awesome.

Hybrid Dolphins in the ring with Kikutaro is awesome.

The two Tag League matches sound awesome.

Aoki going over KENTA and making him tap is awesome. I really like Aoki btw. Besides Ibushi he's my favourite upcoming Junior.

Sounds like an awesome show
