That was quite hilarious, personally I think No Limit were pretty dry, glad MCMG won.

Quick question, why do the results say 3WAY: Team 3D vs Tenzan/Kojima vs Yano and Makabe but when I watched the video it was just a normal tag team match between Team 3D and Yano and Makabe

I thought No Limit vs. MCMG was match of the night - *** 3/4 - **** Really awesome spot-fets (which I like a lot usually) without too much direction. Still, Alex Shelley's bloody nose, and the nice double teams and great pace throughout made this match very enjoyable to a sprint-freak such as myself.

Main Event - **3/4 - Could have been such a good match but this seriously suffered from a serious case of WAY TOO MANY FALSE FINISHERS SYNDROME. I mean after Mutoh Dragon Screw Leg Whips Tanahashi for like the millionth time, and, off the top rope, then hits the Shining Wizard for the thousandth time, and of course Tanahashi kicks out, then Mutoh pus him in the Fig 4 for the 15th time right in the center of the ring, but Tanahashi fights it off and gets to the rope so he can hit the High Fly Low for the 7th time... I mean when did finisher stop meaning finisher? This is "I Hit My Finisher 27 Times On The Guy And He Still Kicked Out Syndrome" taken to an extreme. Too bad. It could have been an exceptional match but it got downgraded to just above average because of the ridiculously excessive false finishes. Making a match longer just for the sake of making it longer = FAIL. Fucking bullshit.

I'm a mutoh fan but the Tanahashi match was subpar compared to the last Nakamura defense. I rather enjoyed Nakanishi vs Akiyama, but mainly to see Akiyama kick ass. Wasn't too impressed with the 3D/MVP match and we should have seen something to set up Nakamura vs Misawa.

Aftermath wise, I think Tanahashi winning was a bad choice as I don't see much he really has to offer as champion right now. He's the closest thing NJ has to an ACE so I dont see why he needed the rub as compared to someone like Nakamura or Goto. Already booked is Tanahashi vs Nakamura again which already sounds like they'll be giving away their biggest feud right off. Bad choice. I expect repeats of Tanahashi's last reign to be near identical this year for matches unless they use a lot of talent from NOAH.
