RIC FLAIR'S break from World Wrestling Entertainment has lead to his agents negotiating deals with anyone who can meet the money and terms it takes to hire the Nature Boy for the day.

With financial issues looming and a reported separation from his third wife, Flair apparently made the decision to take the "short term money" available to him on the open market over the guaranteed $500,000 he was making with WWE.

It's a little painful to watch, because bluntly, Flair deserves better.

He slagged off WWE and Ric Flair saying the whole wrestlemania goodbye Ric Flair thing was over the top and egotisitc then says this? face it he just wants attention

I see what Heyman is saying but Flair has to continue making money. If its going to a small low rent indy, and getting paid his asking price more power to him.

guest refereeing? THAT isn't low-rent?

personally, I think what Flair's doing is fine. it's not like he's going out and doing "hardcore" matches in some high school gym infront of 25 people or whatever because he doesn't know when to pack it in (not mentioning any names, guy who rhymes with Jerry Crunk),he's just making guest appearances. Bret Hart's done it, and still does it from time to time, and I sure as hell don't think he's tarnishing his legacy. if he wants to make the rounds to thank all the wrestling fans, the ROH wrestling fans and the PCW fans that the WWE doesn't really cater to, for their admiration over the years, all the power in the world to him. and if the smaller organizations can afford to have him and maybe get themselves a little publicity, good on 'em.

Paul E is right, but at the end of the day Flair is going to do what Flair wants to do. If it means "Naitchen" again, then all we can do is sit back and be entertained with the potential stories that could pop up.

Flair sacrificed money for being able to do the things he wants to do. It puts him in a bind financially, but at least he feels "free".
