According to Ospreay himself, he has previously suffered "two slipped discs, seven concussions, a dodgy shoulder that is prone to separation, two fractured heels, and sciatica which leads to numbness in his foot."
His crazy style is what makes him stand out, so I understand him not wanting to tone it down. I also think taking less small bookings would be a wise choice for him.
I just hope things don't go the wrong way for him.
He won't see a 30th year while being active in this business, much like a lot of current wrestlers won't. People should look at wrestlers like Dynamite Kid, Chris Benoit and Daniel Bryan as warning signs, not as the kind of wrestlers you want to emulate. Ospreay, of course, takes it to another level with his flippy, unnecessary moves.
Every other match, you nearly see him killing himself by landing on his head or neck. He is a poster boy for future post-concussion syndrome.
