Rob Van Dam: Whole F'n Show.

Rob Van Dam is my second favorite wrestler ever, only behind Mick Foley. I love his move-set, his personality, his shoot interviews, his mindset, and he just seems like a badass. I think his finisher the Five Star Frog Splash is the best High-Flying Finisher in the business, nobody has a better Frog Splash. I love his shoot interviews, and I can only say I've never not enjoyed an RVD match. I liked the guy so much I remember going to my first wrestling show (PWG) cause Rob Van Dam was on the card, just awesome. And I for one don't mind if RVD decides to come back, as I feel RVD was still delivering in his matches on his return as recent as 2014 being in Money in the Bank, his matches with Del Rio, he had a good PPV match with Swagger and Cesaro, and was honestly the last thing I truly remember enjoying in TNA.

There's no real meaning behind this thread, just wanted to make a thread showing appreciation to one of the most innovative wrestlers ever.

Also my top 5 favorite Rob Van Dam matches.

Wrestlemania 22 - Money in the Bank - Seeing RVD have his WM moment, winning MITB when I assumed they were giving it too Lashley made me so happy.

Rob Van Dam Vs Lance Storm - Guilty as Charged - Great Chemistry, and I think is a a gem, right up there with his Classics with Sabu and Jerry Lynn.

Rob Van Dam Vs John Cena - Maybe not his best in-ring match up, but the atmosphere, and seeing the crowd 100% behind RVD was a site to be hold.

Him and Sabu vs Jinsei Shinzaki and Hayabusa ECW Heatwave 98 - One of my favorite tag team matches ever (probably my favorite on American Soil) I loved the match, and the pre-match promo with RVD, Sabu, and The Fonz was terrific.

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn (Living Dangerously 1999) - My Favorite RVD Vs Jerry Lynn encounter, the chemistry was unreal.

Anyway sorry for this RVD lovefest, I've always been a fan of his, and decided to make this thread.

How do you feel about Rob Van Dam? And what are your favorite RVD matches?

I have no idea, RVD takes moves like a freaking champ. I remember when I thought Orton legit killed him with this RKO.

Re: Rob Van Dam: Whole F'n Show.

RVD's match against Jerry Lynn at Living Dangerously 1999 is my 2nd favorite match of all time. I show that match to anyone who's interested in professional wrestling. Other notable RVD matches would be

1. RVD vs Jeff Hardy - WWF Invasion
2. RVD vs Jeff Hardy - WWF Summerslam 2001
3. RVD vs Christian - RAW Ladder Match
4. RVD vs John Cena vs Edge - RAW (in Philadelphia, I was there!)
5. RVD vs. Sabu - ECW Hostile City Showdown
6. RVD vs Sabu - ECW Guilty As Charged 2000
7. RVD vs Chris Jericho - King of the Ring 2002
8. RVD & Sabu vs Test and Mike Knox - ECW/WWE
9. RVD vs Hardcore Holly - ECW/WWE
10. RVD vs Tommy Dreamer - RAW Hardcore and IC Title Unification Match

Re: Rob Van Dam: Whole F'n Show.

RVD is one of my favourite wrestlers of all time and his rivalry with Jerry Lynn is one of my favourite feuds of all time. Actually, both RVD and Lynn are two of my favourite wrestlers. They had great chemistry and their matches together were full of amazing spots, counters and wrestling. RVD has tons more fantastic matches, which have been mentioned already. Storm vs. Van Dam is underrated just like Storm vs. Lynn at Anarchy Rulz 99. Lynn, Storm and Van Dam should've had a Three Way Dance for the TV Title in ECW. And I wish the planned champion vs. champion feud between RVD and Mike Awesome in 2000 had happened. My god, that would've been magnificent. I apologize for rambling on about ECW RVD too much, I just love and prefer him more to WWE RVD but RVD's stuff in WWE was great too.

Yeah that match with Jerry Lynn was dope and the tag match from Heatwave was pretty awesome. I wanna say RVD is the main wrestler that captivated me from ECW. I remember watching that '97 Invasion and then watching the stuff between 1997-1999 and each time RVD is the one who stands out for me. There were plenty of other wrestlers that i enjoyed from ECW but this guy Van Dam was insane, all of his matches i caught at that time made it seem like he was destined to be champion.
I can just imagine if ECW was on top of there business that RVD, Mike Awesome and Taz would have been having great 3 way dances for the title
