I want to branch out from WWE, what's the next best?

So I've only been a wrestling fan for a short period. I think I could say I started watching regularly after the shield broke up (which sucks cause I wish I could have experienced their run). I don't know what my first PPV was, probably the first one after the WWE network came to Canada, but I know that the last WM was my first WM. You guys say it wasn't that good, but I have never been so entertained by a wrestling PPV as much as that one. Loved pretty much every match. (The Orton/Rollins finish was my favourite part)

Anyways, I want to know what the forum suggests as the next best company to watch.

This might sound bad but I'm more interested in the story lines than the wrestling. Lots of times I have WWE on in the background as I cook supper, just listening to the matches or promos. What is the best organization in terms of booking and story telling.? For example AJ Styles is cool, but I don't care about him at all cause the dude can't talk (or at least he can't in WWE, never seen him before then).

TNA, Lucha Underground, etc which is the best for what I'm looking for?

Also, do you know how someone in Canada can tune into whatever program you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on how much time you have, I recommend, in the following order: Lucha Underground, PWG, CHIKARA, ROH, NJPW, AAW.

My two favorites are njpw and nxt that is completly different from raw. But if your more a fan of "entertainment" and not actual wrestling Tna and lucha underground are your shows.

Top 5 (Current)

Kevin Owens
Shinsuke Nakamura
Seth Rollins
Sasha Banks
Brock Lesnar

Top 5 (All Time)
Kurt Angle
Chris Benoit
Shawn Michaels
Triple h
Eddie Guerrero

Tyson Kidd and Cesaro are the greatest the quickest, fastest and strongest tagteam of all time = FACT!

UFC, watch the best of 2015 UFC special on FS1. Was probably my favorite free pro wrestling show of the year.

New Japan and Big Japan.

Lucha if you like really suspending your disbelife. If you find LU is your thing, also maybe go back and watch Wrestling Society X.

Lucha Underground! Ever since I started watching it, I can no longer stomach WWE.

Chikara is also worth checking out, if you enjoy goofy stuff.

Chikara Rules!

All power to the Estonian Thunder Frog and Latvian Proud Oak!
