Had to go with Ibushi that dude is amazing, he had one of my favorite matches in the past 5 years with Omega, then to see where he is now is amazing. Though I love Suzuki, Okada, Liger, Nakamura all of them, if I had to pick a favorite I would have to go with Ibushi.
All-time favorite I'd have to say Liger. He's had a long career, stayed over, always put on good matches, and was a big part of introducing the Junior Heavyweight style to the US in the 90's, and has had dozens of memorable/legendary matches throughout his career. He doesn't seem to have an ego that some in his position would have. He seems completely fine being in random 8-mans and having the random exhibition matches when he goes to the US.
To give a little background because a lot of people in this section don't know me: I'm a huge "Sports Entertainment" fan. I prefer larger than life characters and shenanigans over pure wrestling, but I don't dislike wrestling. I just want it to have a good story behind it. With that said, Okada is my go to guy over here. His character represents everything I look for in a favorite: flamboyance, extravagance, cockyness, and an overall great heel.
It's funny, right after I made the poll I tried to go back and add Omega, because I had a feeling he'd get a few votes. It wouldn't let me edit, though.
Shinsuke. When I started watching NJPW two months ago, a few guys stuck out, but Shinsuke just had me like: 'Whoa, this dude is awesome.' It's that charisma that's off the chart.
Hell, I even sat through those long card opening vids of his, not understanding a lick of Japanese. He just made it fully entertaining the whole way.
LOL, I watch him in press conferences and documentaries, just because he's so funny to watch. Someone wrote "watching him in his natural habitat is fascinating" and it's so true. Despite the language barrier, he is so damn expressive.
Watching him eat (and love!) cookies in his documentary was totally worth it, lol.
I thought that the results would be pretty spread out, which is exactly what's happening (aside from Nak, I guess).
Yoshihiko but in all seriousness it's hard to decide, Nakamura is the first that comes to mind but i also think Kenny omega is pretty great, a little further back i'd have to say Kenta Kobashi
Nakamura and Kushida for younger guys. Sakuraba for the older dudes. Naito is all around fun to watch....especially his current heel run where he apparently is supposed to be like a drunk Scott Hall or something.

I think Nakamura is awesome. He's the kind of guy every new comer is instantly going to like, like Pentagon in Lucha Underground.
Tetsuya Naito is pretty cool too as part of Los Ingobernables
