The Reviewing Thread

I didn't know if I should put this in the general forum or the other pro wrestling forum. Review random matches in this thread. WWE, WCW, TNA, NJPW, whatever you feel like watching.

Re: The Reviewing Thread

Mike Quackenbush vs. Eddie Kingston (CHIKARA High Noon)
Really good match, and probably one of the best CHIKARA matches I have ever seen. The crowd was red hot throughout and it just had that big match feel to it. I'm not really a big fan of Eddie Kingston matches but he looked great throughout this match (That combo at the end was bad ass), and Mike Quackenbush looked excellent like usual. This is the CHIKARA that I miss; CHIKARA has not been the same since it returned.

Re: The Reviewing Thread

I don't usually visit the WWE/TNA parts of the board but Indy, Puro and Lucha are typically all reviewed in their respective general discussion threads pinned above. A thread like this could be a good idea but I feel like it will get pretty cluttered.

Re: The Reviewing Thread

JBL vs. Eddie Guerrero (WWE Judgement Day 2004)
This is probably one of the best JBL matches you will ever watch. I remember this being the only saving grace to an really bad Smackdown PPV. These two went out there and put on a show. Eddie took one of the stiffest chair shots and probably the nastiest blade job I have ever witnessed. The match had an old school feeling to it that you would see from NWA in the 80's. The match makes you realize how great of a face Eddie Guerrero was. It makes you realize how beloved Eddie was. While the match was great the DQ ending kind of ruins it for me a little bit. Nonetheless a great match from both men.

I wasn't sure where to put it, because I wanted to make a thread with all kinds of wrestling. Open people up to matches they never seen before. From the indy's, TNA, WWE, and even NJPW.

Chris Benoit vs. William Regal (WWE Veolicity 10/02/2005
Does anybody remember WWE Veolicity? There are many hidden gems one can discover from this WWE series that ran from 2002-2006. This is one of my favorites I remember watching as a kid. Chris Benoit took on William Regal in one of the best Velocity matches. Benoit and Regal had an catch wrestling classic you would expect from the series World of Sports that came on during the 60s. This match actually focuses on classic British mat based wrestling. A truly hidden gem that many people have never seen before. These two guys put on a wrestling clinic on WWE's C-Show in 2005. Defiantly check this one out.

Re: The Reviewing Thread

Awesome Kong vs. Tyler Black (Seth Rollins)
Believe or not these two face off over 8 years ago. Not only that but did you ever imagine your current WWE champion jobbing to a girl? That's right your current WWE champion got beat by a girl... well Kong is two times the size of Black in this match. In my opinon Kong should have gotten a chance to go against the guys. She still looks impressive against a lot of the smaller guys, but let me stop getting off track and get back to the match. The match isn't that great, but it's just interesting seeing Rollins getting SQUASHED by Kong. It's crazy how much has changed over these 8 years. Kong is wrestling in TNA once again as a shell of her self; while Tyler Black is the current WWE championchip. It's worth a watch to see Black eat the pinfall from Kong.
