Homicide Corino. In one of them, Homicide literally shattered Corino's eardrum and he only had partial, if any, hearing remaining after it. I dont remember which match, but it was a particularly brutal slap, if I recall. There was legit bad blood between them.
enjoy Mr Shiv that slap is still one of the MOST brutal things I have ever seen and the sound HOLY SHIT. there is maybe 500 people in the building and you can hear them all cringe and gasp at the same time. in fact Corino took the brunt of the horrible shots and bumps in that feud.
the show is bitter friends stiffer enemies. it's the same show Low-KI knocked out Dan Maff with a flying kick to the head. yeah that whole show is full of brutal cringe worthy stuff.
as for brawls any homicide feud. and the Steen/Briscoe/generico feuds also the 100th show CZW/ROH main event.
Feels like it is getting its due but I will throw in another vote for the ROH vs. CZW, 100th show main event as one of the best true brawls the company has produced. You have the blood. You have the fighting all over. You have EXTREME levels of violence. True beauty is that match. The Steenerico/Briscoes matches don't quite strike the BRAWL chord in me like they once might have sadly. I also not sure I buy into Steen being a great "brawler" though :/

A totally underrated one is Punk & Ace Steel vs. Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer in Chicago from 2004. It was one of the Death Before Dishonor shows. Track that shit down for sure.
There's SO many great ones throughout the years with that company.
Paul London/Michael Shane Unscripted
Haven't watched it in quite a while so don't know how well it's aged but for a time it was fantastic.
Homicide/Steve Corino. Bitter Friends Stiffer Enemies
In my all time time top 10 ROH matches. If you can find the full introduction for Corino it is great. These two created magic in this one, you can feel the hatred through the screen. 20 minutes that feels like 5.
Samoa Joe/Jay Briscoe. "cage match". At Our Best
I think it's on the ROH YouTube channel. Jay bleeds like a stuck pig, Joe kicks ass and it's a rare ROH cage match. What's not to love.
:grin2:
Remember liking this one a lot too. Wasn't there a pretty crazy 6man brawl/streetfight the following night? I think Matt Cross did his flag pole press dealy off something high in that one.
The best brawl...hmmmm...oh yeah, it was a war...it was a Ladder War. The Briscoes vs Steen/Generico Ladder War from Man Up is the must see brawl in ROH history. It's the type of match I can barely watch any more considering those guys beat the holy hell out of each other. Not even 2 minutes into the match the entire Chicago Field house was destroyed. It's the definition of a match that takes years off your career. It's brutal and insane and awesome.
And this year at the Atlanta show during the Winter Warriors Tour, the Briscoes and Taven/Bennett had a wonderful 2 outta 3 falls match that of course ended in brawling for days. I think it's a perfect example of how you work an old school brawl with modern sensibilities regarding concussions. its a match so good I might actually be a Matt Taven fan now...maybe.
Check out Homicide vs. Necro Butcher from Ring of Homicide . Also the Steel Cage Warfare match between The Embassy and Generation Next . Any Jimmy Jacobs vs. BJ Whitmer match .
I've not seen ROH for years but the 100th Show Main Event for me.
