Besides WCW and TNA, did any other NWA members air pay per views?

From '87-'93 and '02-'07, the NWA got exposure on the pay per view circuit through their member promotions WCW and TNA, respectively.

I haven't heard of any other NWA member promotions airing PPV events, but it seems weird for only two out of the dozens that have been members to have tried. Did another promotion ever put such an event on, either under its own name or under the general NWA banner?

To my knowledge, no other NWA promotion was large enough to run PPV's like JCP/WCW was in the 80's - most only had regional television, whilst JCP/WCW had TBS for national TV exposure. Only the second edition (Herb Abrams') of the UWF and the Ladies Pro Wrestling Association ran PPV's in the same time frame as JCP/WCW and the WWF - and both failed miserably.

*looks up the two pay-per-views you mentioned*

Wow, UWF had a national TV program? I never knew that. I thought the only American promotions with national TV presence over the years were WWE, AWA, WCW, ECW, TNA, Ring of Honor, and Lucha Underground*.

Wikipedia says LPWA also had two television programs, but doesn't specify if they were regional or national.

*Yeah, it's not really a promotion, but it functions like one for the sake of television.

Yeah, UWF's TV program was on what has since fragmented into the Fox Sports Net/Comcast Sports Net collection of sports channels. Those episodes were also clipped up to air on ESPN 2, and have since also aired on ESPN Classic.

LPWA's TV shows were syndicated, IIRC - so small, regional TV channels.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm wondering if there were any other national television programs from promotions that I missed. There's the ones I listed in my previous post, UWF, and... is that it? At least for American promotions?

Herb Abrams UWF was on the Sports Channel or Prime Ticket. Which is on par with ESPN 8

Ring of Honor never had a National Deal.
