Main Event - EBW Catch Championship Rematch: "The Iceman" Sam Goodison vs "Solid" John Green

Fast becoming the defining rivalry of EBW in 2014 and showing no signs of coming to an end anytime soon, "Solid" John Green will once again face EBW Catch Champion "The Iceman" Sam Goodison for the title at Showdown in Chapeltown.

After their match at Fallout 2014 tore the house down, spilling from the ring and into the aisles of the Library Theatre, Goodison snatched a victory from Green using his signature Sharpshooter submission, forcing a rare tapout from "The Solid One".

But the resentment between the two is still such that the EBW Championship Committee have come to the conclusion that if the matter is not settled in the ring, then it will certainley spill over into the kind of conflict which could disrupt the smooth running of the entire show.

Can Green trade on the fact that he will be getting a rematch in front of his hometown crowd in Chapeltown, or will Goodison once again prove to be too much for his former partner?

Singles Match: "The Mean Machine" Mark Sanderson vs "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat

On paper at least, the outcome of the matches in which Sanderson and Bulat were involved in at Fallout 2014 could not have been more different, with the veteran Mean Machine failing to regain the Tag Team Championship belts and "The Romanian Sniper" returning to winning ways in his clash with "Brave" Shaun Cross.

But appearences can be deceptive, as Sanderson has excelled in singles competition in the past and many noted that Bulat made his way to the ring alone, without the support of either Danielle Phoenix or "The Earl" Bob Shoire, hinting that he may still have much to do to redeem himself, in their eyes at least.

Both of these men have a reputation as ferocious competitors, and likewise both have some serious frustrations to take out on their opponent, making for a potentially explosive clash.

Singles Match: "The Real Deal" Kriss Ace vs "The Original" Jacob Page

It seems like only mere moments ago that Kriss Ace was challenging for the EBW Heavyweight Championship, and just a little longer ago that he actually wore the top prize around his own waist before the gold was snatched from his grasp by "The Demolition Man" Mikey Van Riot, but there's no rest for either the wicked or the good, and he finds himself once more back in contention with a pack of equally hungry names, all of whom are desperate for the chance to climb up the rankings for themselves.

In arguably taking a step downwards, Ace faces a man who wants to take one upwards in the shape of Jacob Page, the unconventional and often controversial figure who simply cannot be judged on his win/loss record alone and will always find a way to surprise those who make the painful error of underestimating just how dangerous he is and how far he will go for the sake of a victory.

So is this to be the first milestone along Ace's road to recovering the EBW Heavyweight Championship, or will his fall from grace continue, as he becomes nothing more than fodder for Page?

Elite British Wrestling Tag Team Championship - 3 Way Match: The Hotblooded Males (C) vs The Chaps vs Sudden Impact

Thus far the current EBW Tag Team Champions, Dom Black and Ryan Lee, have faced numerous challengers to their titles and always found the means to come out on top either by means of out-wrestling them or else finding other, perhaps less conventional, routes to success in their matches during recent shows. But one thing that they have never done, is to be forced to take on two different challengers for their belts at the same time.

The rookie sensations known as Sudden Impact made their debut in a three-man tag match against The Chaps, very same team that also lines up to take on the embattled champions in this meeting of arguably the very best tandems in the EBW at the current time.

Which will win out in the end: the untapped potential of Sudden Impact, the gentlemanly puglistic arts of The Chaps or the ruthless will to win that had seen the current champions through all of their previous defences?

Singes Match: Joey D vs Caleb Crow

This match brings together two members of the EBW roster who, on paper at least, appear very similar in terms of their high-flying and risk-taking styles of offence, but in reality are quite different in their psychological approach to the craft of professional wrestling.

On the one hand you have the intense presence of Caleb Crow, eccentric and enigmatic in nature and focussed on outwitting his opponent with his unconventional arsenal of moves, but on the other you have the laid-back and somewhat louche persona of Joey D, happy to inetract with the fans and then step up the intensity when required.

Regardless of who will win out in the end, the meeting between this two complemeting and contrasting young competitors will surely result in a sensational addition to an already loaded card.
