A bit off topic but when Styles's contract is up... people said he have only one year deal

Re: Help me to understand the Okada appeal.

Okada - Great look, great charisma, the BEST dropkick in wrestling today as well as a great arsenal of moves with great flow and execution, greta personality out the ring.

Tanahashi - The savior of NJPW, Their John Cena, GREAT wrestler

Nakamura - In my opinion the most charismatic wrestler today, good wrestler (Not as good as guys like Okada), Strong style of wrestling extremely appealing, amazing personality outside of the ring.

People have given plenty of other reasons in this thread unless you're being willfully ignorant.

I've kinda soured on Shinskayy in recent months the more I see him. Initially he and Okada were my top 2 easily. Now Tanahashi has replaced him.

I dunno, he has all the ability and charisma but gets so lazy at times. Especially when someone targets his legs, he either never sells it properly or forgets to sell it once in a while. The Boma Ye spam doesn't help either..

Still he's quite good but I'll take Tana's consistency over him.

I think Shinsuke and very comparabnle to Dean Ambrose, not the best wrestlers but damn entertaining. In the wrestling category I would give the edge to Ambrose here, Shinsuke can't have good matches with everyone (Hell his matches with Tanahashi were mostly underwhelming)

Re: Help me to understand the Okada appeal.

of the big 3 my favorite is Nakamura. Shinsuke is his first name, so I don't call him by that. I've met him, and I speak some Japanese so I understand his promos and outside the ring interviews. this man is hilariously entertaining. He's got a swagger of a Hollywood Hogan mixed with an 80's Ric Flair. I don't have a problem with his wrestling either. It reminds me of the strong style matches I used to watch as a kid.

As far as Okada, there are many reasons I like him. He has charisma like Nakamura but not on a Ric Flair level. I think both are very good in the ring, but Okada is 10 years younger than Nakamura so he obviously can be more athletic. It's likeable that he's a "western" character, but is Japanese which is highly unusual. In my 22 years of watching their product I've never seen any Japanese wrestler like him.

Oh and he's in CHAOS with all my other favorites so I naturally like him!

Chris Benoit, CM Punk, Stone Cold, Ric Flair, Antonio Cesaro, NAKAMURA, Okada, Devitt

Love okada but disagree on those last two. It all depends on the person selling the rainmaker to make it look good. Ive seen a few bad ones....
