or does anyone else find Tony Dawson(commentator on nxt and superstars) unbearably annoying? Saying 'for the win' every time someone goes for a pin fall attempt and the way he goes on to say something, then stops and urhh-.- I'm not normally one to hate but man this guy

Yeah, he says 'for the win' way to many times, but I like his energy and confidence when commentating. He communicates, unlike Lawler and Matthews, who suck right now.

Yeah, I'm actually enjoying Tony Dawson. He seems genuinely enthusiastic and I don't find his "for the win" to be any worse than Michael Cole's "vintage" or anything Booker said while he was on commentary.

Yeah, I like his energy, he seems eager and actually sounds like he's enjoying the product. That kind of energy can catch onto the viewers too.

I'm not a fan, and personally I find some of his excitement quite forced, like he's being told in his earpiece to sound more enthusiastic than he really is. It's early days though and he can only improve.

He was better on superstars this week imo in all fairness but Stanford is so much better, where is he?!

In any new announcers defence, it's really hard to give a good impression right off the bat if the arena is tiny like the NXT shows. Never realised he commentates on Superstars, but the larger/noiser (heh) crowds will drown out the awkward silences and deft mishaps.

He's better than Tom Phillips.

He sounds like Scott Stanford only without Scott's wittiness and jokes.

His "For the win!" is killing me. Also, I think he's overexcited on commentary. Annoying.
