None. Let the independent scene develop and create new stars again, especially seeing as it still hasn't completely recovered from the losses of Aries, Danielson, Hero, Castagnoli, Generico and McGuinness - Six of the biggest and best independent wrestlers of the millennium. Also include the losses of Tyler Black, Jon Moxley and Sara Del Rey, and the Indy scene really has lost a lot of star power over the past four years. Hell, dare I say that we still haven't seen a great big man on the independent scene ever since Joe signed with TNA? Castagnoli maybe, but he's not on the level of what Joe was from 04-06.

Ask again in two years, IMO.

Because they cut interesting and natural sounding promos?

The Briscoes
Not "cosmetically pleasing", well that's the point, they have got the different look, still young guys, experienced, Jay can cut a pretty good promo, and finally a Redneck character who the WWE have lacked in the last years, they would work, heel or face, they would work.

Adam Cole
Cool baby face young guy, cuts very fresh promos. His ring work could easily match the WWE, and being only 23 yo makes in the top prospect in the indies in my opinion.

Sami Callihan
Another guy who is ready to go to the big league. WWE needs a crazy Mick Foley style character who wrestles dangerously, and cuts insane promos. His unique physique would also stand out in the E.

Mike Bennett
Cookie cutter wrestler for the WWE, an entertainer. With text book style of wrestling, a perfect fit, I would call him the wrestler Alex Riley was supposed to be. And Maria by his side would be the cherry on top of the cake.

And maybe

Johnny Gargano
Samuray del Sol
Willie Mack

Whatever development is stacked, and there are a lot of new faces debuting recently on Raw and Smackdown who need time to create characters.

Someone Japanese with genuine talent. WWE could market an Asian star really well if they tried. Someone like Okada, Goto maybe, Naito even.

BxB Hulk, now there's a guy with talent. Great dancer too. Puts Brodus and the Funkadactyls to shame.

Adam Cole he's a young kid that has the wwe look and the kid can be either a face or heel

Kevin Steen just to see the shoot promos. And to see he and cm punk on the mic at the same time

It strikes me as slightly appalling that there are over 7,000 women in the US competing in sanctioned collegiate wrestling and the WWE cannot find one who might want to transfer her skills from amateur to 'sports entertainment.'

The same goes for Competitive Cheer/STUNT/Acrobatics & Tumbling -- another activity that requires high levels of stamina, intricate choreography, and a certain level of risk & trust involved.

Or, you know, just women athletes in general.

Cody Hall-He has the look, is young and Scott Hall's son, I think it's a matter of time before he is signed.

Chris Angel and Joseph Ayala-Two of Puerto Rico's youngest stars. Could be the Latin-American influence the WWE is looking for.

Tama Tonga-Has really looked good in Japan lately and is Haku's son. Surprised he hasn't been signed yet.

Uhaa Nstion-I don't think there is anyone in the indys with more potential for the WWE then him.

Rhett Titus-The Joey Ryan character in TNA has gotten over with the crowd, Titus could pull one off like it and do it better.

I agree with this. Indie scene needs time to develop new stars. Wwe undercard and developmental isn't lacking talent, they're lacking pushes and writing. Indies have been picked over and left only the bones - let new guys develop and rise to the top.

Big men will never get a good run on the indies because they'll get snapped up once they show any semblance of talent. HHH has done a good job raiding the indies - NXT roster is deep and talented. But I can't help but thinking about how a lot of these kids would be better in the indies touring and getting experience.

He's only 21. I saw some youtubes of him and he's got great skill for his relative youth, but that's still pretty young. But perfect to sign to a developmental contract, for sure. It seems like guys don't come into their own until they're about 25 or 26, so he could even cultivate some skill in Japan or the indies first.

There's no rush on this. All the problems seem to come from guys getting pushed too soon.

I agree with you on this one. I keep saying that there's some glitch with WWE developmental's 'pet project' recruits - the kids out of college athletics, or who have only been in training for less than a year. The kids who've done more than -- I'll say 3, arbitrarily -- 3 years in the indies always come up looking better in-ring, even if they don't have 'the look'.
