Tomorrow’s brightest stars of WWE are honing their craft today on WWE NXT. These young, driven up-and-comers compete week after week at Full Sail University and in other Florida locations with their eyes on several prizes — the NXT Championship, the forthcoming NXT Tag Team Championships and ultimately earning a spot on WWE’s main roster. Take a look at 10 of NXT’s top prospects making a name for themselves in the hopes of becoming future Superstars and Divas, just as Big E Langston and The Shield have done.
Ohno -Kruger- Dallas -Paige - Richie Steamboat -Adrian Neville(pac)-Anya? -the Wyatt Family( all 3 members)
are the ones mentioned in this article as the top 10 nxt stars
good list but i wonder why Anya is there?
i don't think she debuted yet also it seems they are high on BO Dallas (unforunately)

Interesting list, gonna give my thoughts on each of the talent that has been promoted in this article:

Ohno: This guy has all the tools and potential in the world. Great worker obviously, everyone knows that. He needs to work on his current character a bit I feel personally but once he has that down I believe he could make a big impact in WWE's main roster.

Kruger: As I said in a thread I made, Kruger reminds me of a modern day version of Skinner (look him up) with the current gimmick he has. I don't know too much about the guy so I'll have to leave it at that. I don't particularly dig the gimmick they are going with him at the moment however. Will have to watch more to judge him.

Bo Dallas: I honestly do not get what WWE sees in this guy. He is a mediocre worker at best and his character right now is horrible. He is an example of the type of face I cannot stand. He looks and acts so cookie cutter honestly. I see this guy being a mid carder at best but most likely the next Trent Baretta but nowhere near as good a worker.

Paige: :mark: :mark: :mark: I'm going to be completely biased but I have so much love for this woman. Great worker, really cool alternative look that I dig and I really like the approach they are taking with her character. It doesn't feel like a persona at all, she comes across so real and believable as a performer that I can't help but love her. It was the same reason why I fell in love with AJ Lee in the spring/summer of last year. If the divas division is rebuilt back up then Paige and AJ will be the centerpieces of the division. Potentially the Trish/Lita of the 10's as long as they live up to their potential and are used well (unfortunately AJ could be used a whole lot better than she is being used right now).

Richie Steamboat: Great in the ring much like his father but needs some serious character work. Does he even have a character right now? That's really the main thing he needs work on, his character and his promo skills. If he can improve on his weaknesses he could be a success but right now he is much like Tyson Kidd: a workhorse but displays very little character. That is partly WWE's fault for not giving him much of a chance.

Adrian Neville: PAC is a fantastic worker, amazing high flyer, one of the best in the world. Will be interesting to see how he progresses but he could do well for himself in the WWE. I have never heard the guy speak or seen what his character is like so its a case of wait and see. But love the guys in ring work.

Anya: Very interesting bio. Heard about this woman before and she has a really intriguing back story that could be used which could see a very interesting character come out of it. She seems like a bad ass chick too, black belt in Tae Kwon Do and practicing kickboxing? Sounds like win to me. Will be interesting to see how she does and how well the Del Rey training does for her. She will be green to start of with but I'll be patient and see how she does and how she progresses. Which will be interesting to watch.

Wyatt Family: :mark: :mark: :mark: . Bray Wyatt is without a doubt my favourite wrestler in NXT. His character is fantastic and the way he works his character into matches is brilliant. The guy has a true gimmick that he plays to the tee, you never feel like he's acting, you see him for what he is on TV: a psychotic preacher. Great at promos but that didn't need to be said. The Wyatt family is the first storyline in years which literally left my jaw wide open when I first saw them. They have such a demented and weird look that you can't help but stare. You can't keep your eyes off them. It reminds me of Raven's flock the way Bray has control over them but with Raven's flock whilst it had its wacky characters you could see some sense of normalcy. The Wyatt family does not look normal, they are so freaking weird looking yet the way the two behemoths portray themselves like they are under the spell of Wyatt makes you buy into them as characters. This may end up being the most interesting stable in a long time. As far as long term planning is concerned obviously Bray Wyatt is the only guy out of the three that you immediately see a really bright future for. I could see Bray being a favourite of mine for years to come.

Anya is there because she is six feet tall and a Russian kickboxing champ. They're going to want to start the buzz on her before she debuts. If SDR has managed to turn her into a competent wrestler, that's quite a character to promote.

I hope they debut Bray Wyatt and family soon because I can't catch NXT most of the times. His character keeps evolving and should not be wasted on NXT.

Paige is a given for a call up since WWE lost about 5 of their top divas. Plus Paige is the most popular diva on NXT.

Adrian Neville is like a more legit Evan Bourne. I could see him being a mid-card stay and even being the "spot guy" for MITB matches.

Bo Dallas and Richie Steam Boat are second or third generation stars but they haven't really stood out much IMO. They are young though so time will tell.

Leo Kruger has the crazy South African gimmick which I have not really seen much off, but if it's good then debut it.

Kassius Ohno is known for the Knockouts but does he have a new finisher now that Wade Barrett does the elbow knockout? Is Ohno still known for the KOs? I haven't payed enough attention to how his character is progressing.

Anya is only there because she is a tall lady. She is still inexperienced and not even considered green yet lol. She does have a good womens wrestler as a trainer so that could be of some help. She is a kickboxing champion so that is interesting in itself.

Ohno and Paige are by far the two most exciting on this list.

I agree. But Ohno has a terrible look & Paige doesn't really have a Diva Division at all to come to. Pretty shitty situation. I do think there's a lot of talent in NXT though. I was sour on the future of WWE for awhile but things aren't nearly as bleak as I had anticipated.

Ohno/Hero is really talented. Paige is young & beautiful. Wyatt might work if he's not too campy & everyone forgot about Husky Harris.

Guys like Richie Steamboat are the hardest for me to gauge because...he's not his dad. Whenever I see him, I start thinking about his dad. Those are some tough boots to fill. I'm like "he should be completely clean cut" & I don't even realize initially that my thinking that might entirely be due to the fact that his father was. He's still young but he seems really, really far away to me. I can't imagine he ever brings anything to the table that you can't already get from Justin Gabriel or Tyson Kidd. Other than the bloodline of course.

I don't like Bo Dallas at all. I have no idea what WWE sees in that kid. He has a generic look & can't work for shit. Not my cup of tea at all. Less guys like him, please.

I'm shocked! No blonde Diva in sight!

Bo Dallas is back up working house shows for a look. Teamed with Justin Gabriel and most recently Rey Mysterio. I don't think he's as terrible as some here seem to think, but he is lacking a gimmick/character hook. The "he likes pain" bit the tried with him was terrible. Just make him the plucky underdog kid - book him like 1-2-3 Kid even, have him upset a near main event level guy and run with it much like Waltman did.

Paige is going to be the next big thing in women's wrestling. Though probably more Lita than Trish - maybe somewhere in between. I'd love to see Beth come back to feud with Paige. Expect her around Summer Slam next year, as she turns 21yo in August and wwe doesn't want to have any minors on the road.

What this list tells me is Conor O'Brian should be looking to kick Kenneth Cameron's ass right about now.

Know what would be badass? Wyatt Family runs roughshod with the NXT titles for a few months and Bray challenges anybody back in the lockerroom. Out comes Conor O'Brian and the crowd goes crazy, he points to the back and Kenneth Cameron makes his return. Ascension vs Wyatt Family :mark: :mark::ass:mark:

Anya? Looks good, but who is she?

Paige needs to be USED as the top diva once they bring her to the main roster, that girl will do wonders. Everything in her favour to become a future legend if they don't waste her talent in stupid gimmicks! Let her run with the anti-diva gimmick, let her destroy the butterfly belt and be remembered as the woman who brought back the prestigious women's championship belt.

Wait, hold up. AJ Lee comes off as "real" and "believable" to you?

:lmao :lmao :lmao

Anyway, not really surprising, this list. They just took every person on NXT that's gotten any buzz whatsoever and made up a list. Take who's on here with a grain of salt, this is the same company that made a list called 10 superstars to watch for in 2013 and put Tyson Kidd, Wade Barrett and Rhodes Scholars on it. Not exactly people booked top of the line in the slightest.

Im surprised to see no Corey Graves there, figured he'd definitely be in the Top 10 in NXT. Anyway hope they call up The Wyatt Family, Paige & Kassius Ohno as the Post-Mania debutantes.
Also, did anyone else think it was cool when they were listing the names and coincidentally they had (Bo) Dallas-Paige, as in Diamond Dallas Page LOL. I just find that to be a weird coincidence.
