Interesting, although with the Ascension gone, it doesn't really make sense who could compose said division.

Can they really have a true tag division? Considering that a huge chunk of time on NXT goes towards main roster talent. And we know the guys from RAW and SD won't win the belts because it's a step down for them.

Good idea IMO. I think soon we'll see some more also.

Wouldn't be surprised if the old Queen of FCW title translates over to NXT, and maybe a mid card title or the Gerald Brisco classic medal gets brought to NXT also.

As for the tag titles...

You got Kruger and Ohno recently competing together. The Wyatt family, Epico and Primo, Bo and McGillicutty from this weeks taping + alot more possibilities.

The two big Texans Dylan and Blackwell.
A combo of any of the following inked up guys...Corbin, Graves, Devlin and Tac

As much as i like Bronson on his own, i think Bronson and Knuckles Madsen could form a good duo.

Then the typical blue chipper faces...Briley Pierce, CJ Parker and Dalton.

Enzo Amore when he debuts could team with Memo.

Plenty of opportunity...Yeah it's a shame this comes after The demise of The Ascension team...But judging from this next set of tapings, we could be seeing big things from O'Brian on his own.

Hope they will not make Bo and McGillicutty a team. Ohno and Kruger would be OK I think...

There are over 40 wrestlers on the NXT roster in addition to the main roster guys who appear, so it makes sense to introduce some of them as part of a tag-team division.

But the main roster guys take up a good amount of time on the show. And we know the main roster guys won't win the belts even if you put them in a title match.

TBH the main roster guys shouldn't be there, I don't really see what the point of them appearing on NXT TV is. If we're talking about people like Percy Watson and Bateman who never appear on the main programs then yeah, but for guys like 3MB and Epico & Primo it's just a waste of time.

I think they do have a purpose, which is maybe being a draw of sorts on a lesser level.

But I feel that they should be kept separate from the NXT guys. Like if WWE guys appear on NXT, they should either be wrestling other WWE guys, or getting wins over enhancement guys like Aiden English or Jake Carter. They shouldn't be treated as possible contenders to the NXT titles or regularly interacting with the developmental talent.

It creates a weird situation. The main roster guys can't win the belts, but losing to the NXT guys makes them look weak, because they're basically jobbing to minor league guys. Also it looks stupid because kayfabe wise, if an NXT guy can actually beat a WWE Superstar, why is he still on NXT?

If a main roster talent like Alex Riley is booked on NXT, he should be treated like a "guest star" rather than "one of the boys". It should be like The Rock coming back to RAW, but on a much smaller scale.

There's definitely room for tag-team titles, so I'm all for this. I hope the Ascension situation gets resolved quickly.
