Where is a good story line/time to start watching NXT?

Ok so seeing the shield im intrigued to find out a bit more about them and other developing talent, so where would be a good place to start watching NXT? Beginning of the year? or any good angles etc?

The only part pertinent to the Shield storyline is Seth Rollins winning the NXT championship at the end of Season 5, defending it through season 6 of NXT, and having an encounter with CM Punk in his first title defense vs. Michael MacGilli- You know. Curt Hennig's kid.

For Dean Ambrose, you're going to have to google for videos of Florida Championship Wrestling. He was never on NXT - by the time developmental switched over to that name, he was doing dark matches on the RAW tour. His highlight reel includes a feud with Seth Rollins, an unsuccessful run at the title vs. Richie Steamboat, and an awesome, jaw-droppingly good, psychologically intense feud with William Regal.

I'm not sure what the highlight reel for Rocky's cousin is, because I wasn't watching for him until two weeks ago-ish.

Ainsi sera, groigne qui groigne.

I just jumped in and began watching a few weeks ago. It's a fun show to watch, is only an hour and doesn't drag.

If you've not watched FCW, I'd start with the first episode of the current NXT (June 20th I believe).
They basically treated everyone who had been in FCW previously as unknowns, so would have them "debut", with promo vignettes, character explanations etc, meaning you can start at this point with no knowledge of anyone and not miss anything you'd need in order to understand storylines and whatnot.
Episodes are every Wednesday, and are only 40ish minutes each, so while you're basically 6 months behind, it's not too hard to catch up fairly quickly.

HI, I'M DAISY!
