I actually really like Graves. But he's only been on NXT twice from memory. Ohno has been doing the most promo work and getting more attention than any other NXT guy, and that includes the Champ.

If Graves does win the belt, then I hope it is done in a clever way... NXT has been quite good, simple yet effective booking. I hope they keep it up.

Well, the main difference is that Kassius Ohno is tall and WWE-wise Corey Graves is not. But Corey looks in a better shape anyway.

Also, I think Kassius can be a good champion but Steamboat? He's one of the blandest.

Steamboat's actually developing into something interesting. I mean he was basically a fetus, but now he's showing some personality and working well with Ohno. The developmental kids are really benefiting from working with the long-term indie guys, too.

I could see this happening, most of the big names are about to be called up soon or will be doing dark matches like Ohno, Steamboat, Bo-Bo, FIVE, etc and I couldn't see twisted characters like Bray Wyatt or Leo Kruger having a title, they're interesting enough without it, guys like Jinder Mahal or Tyson Kidd should just stay on the main roster and just have occasional NXT matches.

That leaves Graves who is probably the most legit out of the various generic guys like the Jason Jordons or Aiden Englishes.

Agreed here. Steamboat has been getting better, and I would say that it's Bo Dallas who has looked, and sounded awful. Nonetheless these developmental stars are benefiting greatly from the old pros from the indies. Granted they have added some more talent, but nothing like Prince Devitt, Davey Richards, El Generico, or a Eddie Edwards type of a talent. They still need to make some more moves in terms of signing more talent for these other stars to learn from.

Like I have said in the past, Ohno is the best choice for NXT Champion, and I think he should go long term with it as well. They could really build a show off of a heel like Kassius Ohno. His mic work has gotten much better, and you can tell he has his character. Obviously to many, the only thing left for him to do is cut a few pounds off his waist...lmao. In any case, I think Ohno should win the NXT title, and prove why he is main roster worthy.

Keep him down there in NXT with his title, and if they are smart he hold it for nearly a year. Let him debut at the Royal Rumble, and have announcers talk about the belt he wore out to the ring, and what it means. Give him a long go in the Royal Rumble, and push who he is, and what he has done. Make him seem legit, and allow him to eliminate the second most amount of stars of all time behind Kane. Give him the "most eliminations" rub, where he is knocking his opponents out over the top rope, or in the ring, and then throwing them out over the top rope.

I'd take Graves more seriously as champ than that homeless looking bum Ohno.

I'm another one who thinks that working with more experienced folks is paying off for the true developmental level talent. They can't learn without a challenge, and working with those who've already spent years in the business pushes them to step things up. This is why I'm all for some of the technically strong wrestlers from the main roster stepping over to NXT when available, especially those who are approachable and open to helping green talent. I suspect Tyson Kidd is that sort, so I'm glad he's there from time to time. Honestly, if he had the time for it, I think Daniel Bryan would be a terrific guy for them to have as a special match guest. I bet he's great to learn from – a nice guy who loves wrestling and has top ring skills.

Oh, and Graves. Meh, he's alright. I prefer the more developed characters like Wyatt but I supposed he's the more suitable of what they have right now. Ohno's wonderful and all but something's not clicking yet, for me, with him in the WWE fold.

I'm all for it. I've always liked SJK so I have no problem with it.
