I think what they are doing with Main Event is smart. It makes it a legitimate 3rd show. Much more so than Superstars ever was.

All they're doing is making the show a solid 3rd program. If they didn't put matches that mattered on it, then why would fans watch?

The whole purpose of the show is to give that specific match the time and emphasis to make it feel big. It isn't a complete wrestling program that Smackdown or, especially, RAW is to build towards every current angle within the company.
