Judas Devlin, and Danny Burch...
Nothing really stands out about either of these two men as they are a part of WWE developmental, but I think the WWE could have had roles for them outside of wrestling in the ring in order to get them a bit of recognition from WWE fans. Granted neither man may end up becoming anything worth talking about, but I think the WWE could have given both of these guys something right now.
Recently we have seen Sandow paired up with Rhodes. If they were going to pair up Sandow with anyone it should have been Judas Devlin. Let me also point out that teaming Sandow with anyone right now just doesn't make sense, but the WWE did, and I think Rhodes is an awful choice from a creative standpoint. Devlin in terms of character is easily compatible with Sandow's character of intellect. Sandow could have had Devlin as his "protege", and say that he will prove to the world what a great mind can do with a younger, and soon to be enlightened WWE superstar.
For those of you who remember the Jeff Jarrett, and Road Dogg Jesse James pairing then you will be familiar with this same idea. If Devlin is to "green" to begin in the ring, just have him at Damien's side the whole time. Possibly taking notes, giving him updates on his twitter, or my space accounts. Then, at some point once Devlin is able to perform in the ring, Sandow takes all the credit for it. If you recall the JJ, and Road Dogg thing came to an end after it was revealed the Road Dogg was a better singer than Jeff Jarrett. Something very similar can be done with Sandow/Judas. Perhaps Judas has a higher IQ, or actually has proof he studied at Cal. Berkley. At some point Damien would make a reference that he should have known better than to t...t someone with the name "Judas".
Then there is Danny Burch who reminds me of an English Fit Finlay. I really don't know much about the man, but I think he would have been the perfect "right hand man" for Wade Barrett. Perhaps an old friend from the old days? Burch looks like a legit bad ass, and I think he would have made a solid fit with Wade. I don't know that they should team up, but in this day of random tag team pairing this could have been a solid tag team from time to time. A story line could have been from these two as well.
With all the vignettes of Wade speaking about his past, I think it would make sense for someone like Burch to come in, but there is also someone else from Wade's past that is currently on the same roster as Wade. Drew McIntyre explains to Wade that he figured he would come to him one day if he ever truly needs a real friend to have his back. For those who may not be aware Wade, and Drew have been tag team champions of other wrestling promotions, and at one point I believe they went by the name "The Empire". There is a match online with Wade, and Drew vs Alex Riley, and Johnny Curtis.
Drew finally gets it off his chest that ever since he, and Wade have been in the WWE he has pretended to act like their past never existed. Drew would try to convince Wade the whole time that they can be at the top together. Danny would then get in Wade's ear wondering why he ever paired up with a "Scottish" piece of trash like McIntyre. Wade agrees, and says it was his past mistake that he would not like to go back in to. Drew finally gets the picture, but not until Danny Burch has had enough of him. Allow some tension to obviously build between Drew the old friend of Wade, and Danny Burch the new friend of Wade Barrett. At some point a feud starts with Burch vs McIntyre that would eventually lead to Drew getting his hands on Wade, and setting up a feud with those two men. Thoughts?
