Right now, ECW has Tommy Dreamer, William Regal and Goldust as active wrestlers on the roster. I think this is too many for a one hour show. So, what role, if any, would you have them fulfill. My suggestion is this:
Dreamer After dropping the ECW title he should retire from active competition and take over as GM. His ring work is no longer good enough to justify main-event status on what is after all a development show and using him as a jobber is somewhat insulting to the last ECW Original.
Regal This one should be easy. He's the best worker of the three and a natural heel. He should the Jericho of ECW, near the main-event, putting over young talent while getting enough wins to maintain credability for himself.
Goldust This is the one I don't expect much support for. I think he should become himself, Dustin Rhodes. He'd be the face vet, playing the role of Shawn Michaels on ECW (well, not as high up the card as that). Now I know he's never been all that over as himself but that isn't the point. He'd play a quiet, supporting role in storylines, maybe working in tag-team matches letting the young talent shine and jobbing in singles matches but always booked competatively. Besides, with the Hurricane returning, the show has no need for the 'Goldust' gimmick.
Thoughts?

Just combine superstars and ecw into one two hour show.I like tna but if vince really wanted to be an asshole, put it on thursday nights vs tna and see if you can win.

Dreamer needs to go at least away from the ME scene, he really does suck as of late.
Regal is awesome, i hope he goes far in ECW he has the mic skills and wrestling skills to back it up, just cant seem to get over so much.
Goldust I've always been a fan off but i have no idea what he can do on ECW and i dont think creative do either judging by the fact he hasn't been on this weeks and isn't on next weeks show.

I agree with you on Dreamer, I have been debating this on the E for a while now. I really think he would be a great asset as a GM to ECW.
Regal...he is the best technical/brawler in rasslin today. Just because he is not mega hot does not mean he should be ignored by the E. I get so irritated when the non-perfect looking guys are ignored. Let him reign as ECW champ for a while the guy deserves it for pity sakes.
I like the dark oddity that is Goldust. I can't explain it either lol. I just dig his wierdness. I know odd, eh?
