I know I'm gonna get flamed and red repped for this, but fuck it. I was watching Cena vs RVD again just for fun and those ECW fans reall do piss me off everytime I watch that. They have no respect for anyone unless they get all bloody and fucked up fir them every week like a bunch of village people in the 1700s watching fights to the death. I absolutely HATE those fans, they have no fucking balls, they throw stuff at Cena during an event but I promise you that if they saw him on the street, they wouldn't even think of doing a thing. I remember watching Batista walk out to face the Big Show and some tiny 5 foot Harry Potter look alike cussing him out and giving him the finger. That's what an ECW fan is, some stupid, smarky piece of shit. People say kids only chant for Cena, fuck that. I cheer for him and I'm an adult. The only people that boo him are smarky assholes or ECW douchebag fans that would turn on even Sabu if he didn't bleed every week or break a new bone every month. Rant over. Now red rep me assholes.
I won't flame you at all. I actually commend you for calling those people out, though not all old ECW fans are that way...but I do see your point. I don't hate on CENA because of his character...if a certain fan base loves it, then so be it. He is doing his job.
Old ECW fans gave Big Show a great reception at that One Night Stand PPV...it's got nothing to do with the blood and guts, hardcore stuff...Cena represents everything that the old skool ECW fans stood against. Given that he isn't a great technical wrestler and has a stale gimmick, doesn't help matters. Also, Cena...VS RVD on an ECW PPV, in an ECW arena...who the hell did you think they were going to cheer for?

Why the hell are you so angry? I've been an ECW fan for about 14 years and I'm none of those things. It was basically RVD (a man who has a HUGE ECW following) against John Cena (everything ECW couldn't stand) in ECW's territory, of course Cena and Batista were going to get heat. Not everyone is going to lick John Cena's ass.
Maybe you shouldn't base your opinion on what ECW fans are all about by one pay per view. I find it funny that you mention how ECW fans only cared about blood when WWE fans of today bitch and moan when blood is nowhere to be seen on WWE programming.

Any adult that buys into the crap WWE feeds them each week disgusts me as much as us old ECW fans disgust you.
The hate towards John Cena and Batista has nothing to do with the individuals, but it is what they represent. They get booed because they represent WWE, which means they represent generic wrestling, Hollywood script writers, marketing teams, stock holders and an attempt to control and crush an entire industry that they don't even want anything to do with in the first place.
The ECW faithful were pretty awesome that night, besides, the throwing back of the shirt was pretty epic, and it made the match that much more entertaining, not that the match wasn't decent, because it was.
Besides, they would jeer any WWE Superstar who didn't have an ECW background.

In response to your post, I'd rather watch a drunken ECW crowd that is genuinely into the show in the audience. WWE crowds are about as exciting as baseball crowds - and the shrill chanting of children somehow manages to piss me off.
