You gotta think though, he might be ok with jobbing to help pass on his wrestling knowledge to younger talent and try to help them get over, but it really is all of ECW that Vince has shit on, RVD was the only guy that was in ECW when it died in 2001 that actually did anything with the WWE. Lets not forget the Extreme Rules handicap match that featured Bobby Lashley against Dreamer, Sandman, and Balls Mahoney...very sad day for the ECW faithful...
Cos tbh, he issn't a great wrestler and is there to put over the young heels.

When I saw the title , I was thinking , is this a trick question?, when they could very well have "Tommy Dreamer" stand for "jobber" in the dictionary.
I think Dreamer is jobbing alot more in WWE than he did in ECW is because of all the injuries he suffered in the old ECW. Hes unable to put on a long'ish matches. But yeah, Dreamer has been jobbing since his ECW days. He even admited in the Rise and Fall of ECW DVD and only reason he ever became a champion was because people kept leaving the company and he had that feud with Raven where Raven would also win until Dreamer finally pinned Raven in his final ECW match before he headed to WCW.
Tommy Dreamer was not a jobber in ECW. El Puerto Riqueno was a jobber in ECW. Dreamer lost a lot of high profile matches, but was in the main event scene for virtually his entire career.
Sad thing about it is that Dreamer could have been a huge star in the WWE had he desired that position. His no-bullshit ass kicking attitude that got him over in ECW would have done the exact same on the WWE stage, but he never took the opportunity to showcase his personality. Think Stone Cold from New York, and you got Dreamer.
Dreamer's always been a jobber. He's in the business for the fun of it. He's not concerned about being in big main events and winning championships.

Concerning the so called "PG Era"
Thats why nobody can watch the WWE any more. You spend so much time whining and complaining about PG and Nielson Ratings that by the time your done, The show is over and your are forced to read the forums for spoilers, where you complain about it more. I have been watching old attitude era episodes, and to tell you the truth, it was overly childish and immature.
That leads me think that half of you PG Whiners never lived in the attitude era, but are young enough to still appreciate toilet humor and dirty jokes.
He has creative power in Ecw and he likes putting people over. Wrestling is not about winning all the time and getting all the fame its about creating new stars and making the business run. Ric Flair is not arguably the best wrestler of all time because he was 19 time champion. He was not greedy look how many men Flair made I will name one big star Sting. Flair made Sting. IMO I rather make someone a star rather then be a star.
