Yes, I didn't saw the guy in the ''indies'', I know I should, but well since he unlike CM Punk and Samoa Joe didn't keep his Hero name, I'll give my opinion about him from now on.

With his attire and ''happy birthday'' face, Kassius Ohno should be something we don't see very much.
A comedic winner.

Note how I put emphasis on winner, instead of babyface.
A guy winning most times, always with a fresh attitude and proud of his belly.
Eventually with that character he would make a good tag team partner with the underdog Sami Zayn in the main roster, as happy ''goody two shoes'' faces.

What does that even mean? Lol. Is it like the 180 opposite of "resting bitch" face?

I agree with your sentiment in a sense that I couldn't really buy him as a heel. He gives that "chill hipster" vibe to me.

Whadya know, Cesaro and Ohno are wrestling in the same company. Cesaro is treated as a tag team specialist and seems to get no direction as a singles competitor. I'm not sure how Ohno will do on the main roster and if he can connect with the bigger crowds. Why not reform Kings of Wrestling? If you're not familiar with their work I highly suggest YouTube-ing some of their matches to get an idea. You won't be disappointed.

But he isn't a goody two shoes like at all. Just because he is fat and a babyface does not mean he has a what you called "happy birthday" smile.

I've always sensed an asshole kind of vibe from him. I dunno, but its just non of his segments have ever made me felt that he was genuinely likeable, but he is more of a cool cat.

-When he first debuted on NXT, not on NXT TV he made it clear he was going for Nakamura's championship and even taunted Nakamura for it.

-On his actual TV debut, he went and basically challenged Roode without ever acknowledging the fact that he was basically jumping straight to the front of the line and purely on the basis he was Chris Hero on the indies.

He absolutely went overkill with wrecking Samson's guitar. I mean Samson's not exactly a good guy, but considering that he just lost his job and it was clearly something he loved, he disn't have to destroy something else Samson loved and then taunt him with it. And its not like Samson ever did much to him in particular aside from mock him for his loss before Ohno decided he wanted to destroy everything Samson loved.

In general, he just doesn't come of as a pure white babyface. Compare him to someone like Sami Zayn, Ohno almost has an air of superiority around him and he hasn't even done anything particular babyface-ish.

Yes I watch NXT most times, that's why I was talking about what I would like to see with his character...

In my country it's said someone has a happy face when he/she have a tender smile.
Kassius Ohno reminds me someone like Fred from Scooby Doo. Someone that not only is a HERO, but also look like that.

But then I remembered that since he has a peculiar body, it would be a good idea to mix the Fred I see of him with Shaggy. Thus resulting in a comical winner...
Someone who acts like the Hurricane or Doink, but wins most of his matches.

Remember how the Pink Panther always used to win against his enemy the white dwarf?
Well that's how I'd like to see Ohno winning in NXT, while the white stupid dwarfs would be his opponents:lol

The Ohno I'd like to see is hiding under 100 lbs of Kassius I don't want to see. Honestly, the weight is only an issue for me because it's keeping him out of the conversation for future main roster WWE Champion. He is one of the best in the world even as this fat ass, but he can go on the mic. His career is wasted with the current look.
