Glencross is a motherfucking dynamo, and basically a force of nature. She's been a really brilliant heel on the live events so far by all accounts too.
Billie & Peyton will need to be built back up on account of their jobbing, which could easily be presented in a really engaging way.
I think with Asuka positionned the way she is right now, and her general level of dominance over the last year, it might be wise to bring people like Glencross & Ember in at a high level to kind of reset the landscape. Presenting them both as on Asuka's level, the two of them can then be the bridge to people like Billie & Peyton, and the greener talent beyond that.
It would be great to see a narative where the bar is raised across the division; everyone has to raise thier game to compete with Asuka, Glencross & Ember, rather than suddenly appearing to make Asuka look weaker, or trying too hard to protect her in defeat.
I don't know how long WWE intend to keep Asuka in NXT, but regardless, a new era headed by Billie, Ember, Glecross & Peyton, plus Asuka if she hangs around, could provide some matches easily on par with (and even beyond) the likes of the 4 horsewomen.
Such a stupid division: Daria, Mandy, Sara... Three untalented chicks from Tough Enough.
Bayley and Asuka are the only big dogs.
Peyton, Billie and Alyiah are great, but jobbers.
They will push two random chicks from indies (Nikki Storm and Athena) with an undefeated streak (like Nia and Asuka) due their job outside of NXT even that the don't have a character while everyone will job to them.
Royce, Kay and alyiah all worked the indies so why would storm and Athena get an undefeated streak just because they worked outside WWE..i mean Becky was a bigger name on the indie circuit than storm or Athena and she was booked as an underdog face and lackey heel in nxt.
Jax got pushed in nxt because she is unique and the rocks cousin while asuka is probably on big money given she was a major acquisition..neither Athena or storm (who in tiny btw, smaller than bliss) have those types of backgrounds
I suspect Billie will be getting a push. I think coming up to Smackdown to put over Dana Brooke has some sort of payoff. Billie's music is great and I like her Phantom of the Opera gimmick. Needs to improve those mic skills but otherwise she's ready.
Nikki Glenncross is the easiest bet to get over out of all the new girls. She's likeable and has an infectious personalty that will win over that Full Sail crowd pretty quick.
Billie Kay is already on cue to debut based on the last set of tapings.
Almost ready to make a legit debut are: Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, Liv Morgan & Nikki Glencross.
And you just know they'll push Mandy Rose to the moon.
Already marking for Ember, Sara, and Mandy. So excited for the future.
