Emma in NXT?

I often wonder why is Emma in NXT? She was a popular baby face, that was over with the fans, that weird entrance dance was pretty popular but she seemed to get very little time to do anything meaningful on the main roster and once Santino went away, she basically disappeared altogether and dwindled back down to NXT and the occasional Superstars match, now she's a heel and I think a pretty good one, she's got some heat, is actually alright on the mic and can wrestle, so is there actually a reason for her not being on the main roster? Or is this just another case of the company not utilizing it's talent in the right way, similar to Sasha banks being in this god awful Team BAD shit that she doesn't need to be a part of.

She was booked terribly. She was never a babyface, she was always a heel. And is nailing it in NXT. NXT is susposed to be developmental. It seems to be the opposite when talent is put back to NXT. I really loved her theme. Unfortunately I Think the damage is done, you only get one impression.

I really hope she gets another shot because she's one of the divas that the womens division should be built around, her, Paige, Sasha Banks, Becky, Charlotte, Bayley, also being Australian, it'd be nice to see an Aussie diva do well up there

She needed to reinvent her character.. She went from a dancing fool to Dana Brooke's lackey.

She's better off in NXT at the moment because there's no room for her on the main roster right now. You really want her to be irrelevant and lost in the shuffle? That's what would happen if she was on RAW.

She would get lost but that shouldn't happen, there's several women on that roster that are actually entertaining and should be given time but aren't, they're just all smashed together as soon as they hit the main roster, look at Sasha Banks, without doubt the best Diva in the company for me but she's stuck in the Teams BAD crap that she doesn't need, the divas revolution worked on NXT, it's yet to have an impact on the main roster and that's entirely the companies fault, it's a big market that hasn't been explored

Emma made right choice, if she stayed on the main roster I think she'd be even more irrelevant than Becky during this clusterfuck of revolution right now.

She has a lot more character development in NXT. Main roster thought her NXT "history" would follow her to the main roster and thus treated her call-up as NXT Emma getting the call-up, whereas it's a fraction of wwe viewer watches NXT, especially earlier NXT (compared to where it is even now). Main Roster Emma was just some goofy girl with bad arm flailing dance moves and too forced comedy that wwe is infamous for. Emma in NXT was first the oblivious thought she was hot and good dancer arrogant heel, who gradually became a face - probably peaked out with Santino, she was even getting stale in NXT before her call-up. Her main roster time being a abysmal failure is even part of her Evil Emma gimmick now back in NXT and it's a much better place to be character-wise for future potential purposes (and can focus on her workrate with is right up there but never got the respect others have. And if she ever goes face again down the line in NXT and starts dancing again I think the place would erupt.

I haven't seen the stuff of Santino with Emma because I couldn't watch WWE from Jan 2010 to Oct 2014 for external reasons.
But I suppose it wasn't really fun, because Emma isn't exactly the most charismatic diva, and I supposed Santino as comedian was the ''lovable loser'' so it would have worked well with a hot diva like Layla or Alicia, or with a dominant one like his former partner Beth Phoenix.

So yes I'd say Emma was hit by bad booking when she was on Raw...

Least her current Heel character has been a success alongside Dana and if NXT bookers have any smarts they would have Emma replace Bayley as champ after her inevitable call-up to MR so Emma can fully establish her transformation.

Emma doesn't have heat. She's technically a heel because she friends with Dana Brooke but the crowd actually roots for and chants "Evil Emma" at her. At one point the crowd did dislike her when she was being mean to Bayley but as soon as they stopped feuding the crowd was indifferent to her.

As a fan of Emma I'd really like to see her be more evil and get to the point that she's as hated as Eva Marie. A difficult task I know, but if she can get that kind of nuclear heat, she could actually go back to the main roster and be taken serious. As of right now she is not ready for the main roster. She would get lost on the main roster all over again.

So all she has to do is forget how to wrestle, talk like a forgetful robot, and act like she has learning difficaulties on a scripted "reality" show.

Because if she tries to get heat by "being evil", people will just like her even more.

I just think she needs a little bit more about her in order to make the step up to the main roster. They ruined her the first time round, dropped her back in NXT and now she's adopted a more serious schtick. Being around Dana Brooke makes Emma seem really bland in comparison though.

It's because WWE has absolutely no clue how to book the women. I mean, shit, they can hardly even book the men, but the women? Fuck no. They saw Ronda Rousey setting a trend and they thought "be gotta get in on that, damnit!".

Tons of talents will continue to waste away while WWE tries to figure it out, and Emma is no different. She could be of use during the so-called 'Diva's revolution', but they don't see it, thus she won't be allowed to contribute. Oh, and don't forget, once Vince sees someone as a comedy jobber, they're branded as such basically for life. Sadly for Emma, I doubt she'll be the one to change that.
